Has everything you need and nothing you don't
El nido is a town with high accomodation prices when compared to the rest of the Philippines. My wife and I found a limited range of mid range options so were lucky enough to find this place for 3 nights back in April 2019. Here are a few of my thoughts.
PROS
* Cost/Value - Although the accomodation was a bit basic, the price of 45AUD (roughly 30USD) was quite good when compared to the competition
* Location - It was located in the centre of el nido town which was good for access to restaurants, bars, etc which were within walking distance. We were also able to walk to and from the port.
* Off street - One of the big issues with accomodation in el nido town is noise from the street. This accomodation was great as it was located BEHIND the building that was adjacent to the street, down a side alley. Therefore, you didn't get street noise.
* Wifi - Worked surprisingly well.
* Service was good enough staff were friendly.
* Room - Basic and small but the bed was comfortable enough and the air conditioner worked fine
CONS
* No hot water but given the water come out hot this doesn't matter.
Overall this is a good option for budget conscious travellers.

Too expensive for what it offers
The room is really small. Bathroom amenities are substandard, a measly soap and a shampoo bag, a mini roll of toilet paper. The air conditioning is too noisy. For the price paid, it is definitely a bad value for money.

A clean and pleasant family-run Homestay. Rooms a bit too small.
My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights. The accommodation is more of a family run Homestay rather than a hotel.
Cons:
Rooms are very small even for a couple with limited luggage. Bathroom is even smaller, with the shower almost on top of the toilet. In addition the toilet did not have a seat cover means the entire place is wet after use. Lighting in the room is very dim, and you wouldn't be able to draw the curtains as our room window opened onto the main staircase, which was not ideal.
It's a budget friendly place if you just planning to sleep when you get to the room. But as you most probably will be Island hopping during the day, chances are you will need to dry your clothes in the small room making it very musty with no ventilation.
Pros:
The property on the whole including the room is clean and well kept. The staff are friendly helpful and polite. They help organise tours and even replenish any towels or toilet tissues you may need. Coffee available to make at any time as well as hot and cold drinking water.
Loved the little breakfast area in the morning. As the hotel is about 50m from the main road, it's quieter and nice to have a coffee in the morning hours. Internet was quite good as well and we had no issues with it. Fan and Aircon in room. Location if the hotel is about 4 mins walk to the beach and island hopping tours, and several eating options along the way.
This is a budget friendly homestay and it's important for guests to make that distinction before booking. Overall a pleasant stay.

Good location, friendly hosts
Me and my friend stayed here for 4 nights. Our room was right next to the front desk. There were only two of us but for some reason our room had a double and two single beds. The hotel didn’t have any water available except to buy. The WiFi was a little patchy but mostly worked well. The bed was pretty comfortable with an awkwardly placed TV. The bathroom is a wet room (shower over the toilet) with cold water only. There were a few ants crawling around and some mosquitos snuck into the room since the door has a slight gap in it. The hosts are really friendly with free coffee in the morning, a cute puppy (who yaps in the morning so bring earplugs) and can book all sorts of tours and transfers for you. It’s only a few minutes walk from the canopy walk and the poblacion (town proper). If you wanna hire a moped, I’d recommend Apple Bon; negotiable prices and you can park there which is a minute walk away from Mountain Side Inn.

Great stay!
Lovely accommodations! Runned by husband and wife who are super friendly, and daughter has the cutest dog.
Husband was kind enough to take me on his motorbike to show me where to catch the free shuttle to Lio beach.
One of the staff walked me to the canopy walk (1 min away).
Great location, right in town and close to the beach to catch the tours, and short walk to the strip with all the restros/bar.
Clean place, room a bit smaller than I'm use to, and the shower was luke warm, but that's pretty much all of El Nido. The wifi connection was strong. Nice to sit out on the patio. I'm not a breakfast person but from what I've seen cheapest in town.
Would recommend.
