If you’re looking for a place where time slows down and nature takes center stage, Fantasy Lodge Cebu in Samboan is exactly that escape.
From the moment we arrived, it felt like we stepped into a private sanctuary perched on the edge of the sea. The rooms are beautifully designed—simple yet soulful—with wide glass windows that open up to endless ocean views. Waking up here is something else… soft light, the sound of waves, and that quiet stillness you rarely find anymore.
One of my favorite spots was the balcony—perfect for slow mornings with coffee, journaling, or simply soaking in the view. By sunset, it transforms into something magical. Golden light reflecting on the water, a gentle breeze, and just pure calm.
The outdoor experience is just as unforgettable. Imagine soaking in a flower bath right by the sea, surrounded by rocks and nature—it felt raw, grounding, and incredibly peaceful. It’s not your usual luxury… it’s something more authentic.
They also offer relaxing spa services overlooking the ocean, which adds to the whole “disconnect to reconnect” experience. No distractions, just you and the sound of nature.

Perfect room on the other hand breakfast not great at all.
We had taken a suite overlooking the sea, beautiful.
But breakfast not great, example not even a juice, the basic home base

My partner and I were on a road trip around Cebu, definitely not t worth it. Place is absolutely filthy. Stuck for a place to stay booked here. And experience to say the least. Weird vibe in restaurant, no one seemed happy. Maybe that’s just Cebu, room great if you are into creepy crawlers.

Brilliant cliffside location with amazing views. Very nice and helpful staff. We had some great Snorkeling on the reef just off the Beach. Perfect for two days of silence and relaxation

Stunning stop in the island of Cebu

Our group of nine was unanimous. Very decent room but especially excellent cuisine. Variety, Asian inspiration on some dishes with a real concern for presentation. I congratulated the lovely young lady who's at the stove. Friendly and attentive staff. Tomorrow, departure for the next island hoping to find the same level of service.
