Torun Top

Torun is the city of Copernicus, so you can't miss sleep in here, Copernicus Street also.
The apartment was very good and with parking included just behind the building.
The girl spoke also a very good english, that is not so frequent in Poland

Stinky experience

The smell from the sewers is unbearable! Good location that’s it. However we slept with windows open and was just 2 degrees outside. Duvet and pillows stinks due to sewer issues. Noisy pigeons and poo view from the apartment.
Luckily I ended up with a £20 refund from Airbnb.

Beware the stairs!

We booked this and were horrified to discover the apartment was on the top floor which meant climbing 80 steps of a spiral staircase! Nowhere was this mentioned in the description nor the fact that the full amount in cash was payable on arrival. Down and up 80 steps to go to the cash machine! The apartment is central but sparsely furnished with poor lighting and the house rules are only in Polish.

Underdelivered and overpriced

For nearly $150US/night I was expecting something a bit nice - I was disappointed. It is in a great location. So what's not to like:
1. A smelly, ridiculously small bathroom with a sink so small it was nearly impossible to shave.
2.Threadbare towels and no hairdryer.
3. Bare bones furnishing - no sofa or comfortable chairs and dining chairs with the seats collapsed, so that the only way to sit was by balancing on the frame and an old tube TV
We stayed in 3 other cities in Poland prior to this and all the accommodation was much nicer at 1/3 to 1/4 of the price this place charged, this is definitely a contender for the worst-value place I have ever stayed in.
If you really get stuck -OK there are no bed bugs and the water is hot, otherwise, just don't. The kitchen sink didn't even have a plug.

STAY AWAY!!

First of all it has a good location and the rooms are nice, HOWEVER.. The is heavy construction work in the buildning often starting at 8.30 in the morning ( including the weekends!) continuing until late evening. And when I say construction i mean is like a earthquack, - the drilling in the walls made me crazy!
