if you do not like Wild West inspired films you will probably not like this hotel
Anyhow, the bed was good and the room was clean. Breakfast was a typical Polish style buffet with salads, scrambled eggs, sausage and cold cuts. If you do not want the machine filter coffee the staff also makes espresso based drinks.
I will for sure recommend the Texas Hotel, the prices are very low, the rooms are clean and the beds are good.

(Mostly) Great Customer Service.
The hotel’s restaurant-Panna Maria-serves up a multitude of dishes to suit all tastes, from the traditional (breakfast omelettes, steak and chips etc.) to the adventurous, like ox-tongue (neither of us opted for that!). In March, we arrived from the airport late in the evening, hungry and tired to find that they had kept the restaurant open for us. That was very thoughtful of them and really stood out for me.
The staff were wonderful for the most part, to be honest. When we realised we were hungry after the restaurant had closed, the receptionist helped us to find a few pizza places that were still open, helped us to translate the menu into English and ordered for us also! The same girl personally brought extra pillows to our room within minutes of me requesting them and, when my partner fell ill one day, the restaurant manager brought everything to our room. During our second stay in March a group of children visited the adjoining Wild West style theme park on a fieldtrip (incredibly well done!). As it was open, we decided to take a walk around. We didn’t expect that the people operating the amusements (rollercoaster, simulators etc.) would extend the invitation for us (two grown adults) to try them out but we had a wonderful time and really appreciated their kindness.
Cons
-When we arrived there in November, the lift was out of service, as a result of which we were forced to haul our suitcases up around two flights of stairs. When we returned in March it was yet again in a state of disrepair and when friends of ours stayed there in May they were informed it had ‘just broken’. I am more inclined to believe that they hadn’t bothered to fix it in the first place, rendering the hotel wheelchair inaccessible until such time as they do.
-Whilst I cannot complain too much about the breakfast-as it was included in the room rate-I found it disappointing to say the least. They offered a limited selection and even when I arrived down to eat at 7am the cooked items (e.g scrambled eggs and Frankfurters) were lukewarm at best. I would wholeheartedly recommend paying that little extra and ordering from the restaurant’s official breakfast menu. Their omelettes were large enough to feed two of us and were absolutely delicious!
-Speaking of the restaurant, I found the service to be exceptionally slow for the most part- even when we were the only diners. One particular waiter also severely lacked people skills. I can excuse a lack of English, absolutely, but is a friendly smile too much to ask?
-We found it extremely difficult to connect the television to our laptop. My partner is the tech-head and could probably explain why but just be forewarned.
-This has nothing got to do with the hotel itself, but when we popped across the road to the twenty four hour gas station one night, we had the displeasure of encountering a group of dangerous looking men, drinking together in a dark part of the parking lot. They approached and asked us for money. Only for the fact that my partner is a tall and broad (certainly taller and broader than the guys in question) and firmly told them no we may have had some trouble.
To summarise, I would have no hesitation in recommending Twin Pigs for the largely great customer service, cleanliness and mouth-watering menu.
