worked well for me (eventually)

normally i would say simple check-in however i'm a bit of a dinosaur when it comes to tech so all i'll say is codes for the side gate and where your room is are sent to your phone.
as for this casa it is a bit old fashioned,clean and eventually worked well for me,my room(s)starting with my bedroom was of a good size with high ceilings and on a corner with a lot of light coming in and had a good sized balcony,my private bathroom was down the corridor and if your on the caminho there's a good area to dry clothes and you get to use the rather large sized kitchen.
despite having a few issues that soon got sorted,for what i paid i wouldn't hesitate to return.

Characterful room in old building with OK facilities

We had a characterful room in an old building with lots of dark wood and period features. The building was on the Camino route and close to shops and eateries. Access to the room was via a number lock on the front door and a proper key in a key safe. The room had a comfortable memory foam mattress bed but it was very squeaky. There was a small balcony with wooden shutters and just one chair. There was a single bed squeezed into the room and we'd prefer if this was removed offering more space and another chair to sit on. There was no wardrobe or hangers to hang out clothing. There were limited electric points to plug things into. The shower room was small but the shower was good. There was a separate communal kitchen which could have been cleaner. There was also a communal terrace but this was dirty and needed more furniture. The room door lacked insulation so it was quite loud with other guests coming and going to their rooms down the corridor.
