Unreal hostel.

First time in lagos. Stayed at this hostel with 3 other friends.
Amenities are great and all the staff we're absolute legends.
Would have stayed here longer if I had known how good it would be.
Only downside is no air conditioning in the rooms. But not a massive deal as it stayed cool enough with a fan and breeze.
Cant rate this hostel highly enough.

Not staying here agin

Dark and gloomy, heavy smell hits you on the face when walk in,
Kitchen needs deep cleaning since smells of heavy spice and oil from cooking. Fridges needs cleaning and tiyding up regularly.
Outdated furniture and not enough choice of utensils. Dirty sofa to sit on.
Dark, tired looking bedding but comfortable mattress. Privacy curtains is difficult to open and close, go help you in an emergency.
Doors don’t have numbers on them for some funny reason ‍♀️

Not staying here again

You know when you walk into a place you get the feeling of positive or negative vibe instantly, I’ve had that! It felt heavy, dark and gloomy l, the choice of dark colour on the walls and the decorating with wall art of real size human paintings made it feel creepy and claustrophobic.
The heavy smell hits you as soon as you walk into the dark hall way where the reception is. It doesn’t even look like reception it rather looks like a small control room.
The rooms are tiny, you fight with privacy curtains to close or open, in an emergency god help you!
There is another even a stool to perch to put your shoe on.
The kitchen needs a deep professional clean because there is this heavy smell that only can be achieved by doing that. The washing up liquid is watered down so it’s hardly a detergent!
The sofa was so filthy I just don’t want my clothes get dirty! The furniture is so outdated, there is not many choice of utensils and tbf I did not want to cook and eat there! It just put me off.
The fridge is messy and dirty. Don’t think staff regularly cleans or gets rid of stuff.
The only thing about this place mattress was comfy but again the bedding was dark coloured tired looking.
The cost of this was 50£ per night! It was so expensive for what it is. I will definitely not stay here and don’t recommend to people.

Our favourite place

Fantastic location! Right near everything you need and a short walk to the most beautiful beaches! 4 bed dorm and en-suite is great so spacious we had our own little balcony everything was super clean and just a really great atmosphere. The bar crawl is a must. Cloud 9 is just a really great time and I can’t wait to be back

Fun times in Lagos!

Fantastic hostel with great facilities! Perfect location in the heart of town with awesome roof top views! So much to see and do with pub crawls and all sorts of fun activities going on each day. Skye the main receptionist was a ball of fun and always helpful and smiling in reception! Can see why she’s loved by all!
