Great
Great Hotel, I wish i could have stayed more!!! The staff and the owners were great and very kind. I loved the design and the pool. All the services were perfect. To sum everything up, Hotel Apollo in Neptun, Constanța is a hidden gem! Clean rooms, friendly staff, and a relaxing atmosphere make it perfect for a seaside getaway. The location is great—close to the beach but quiet. A fantastic stay, highly recommended!

disastrous experience – Run-down hotel, terrible hygiene, and unacceptable service
I know this review won’t change the world, but this was our genuine experience at Hotel Apollo in Neptun. Although the front desk staff was polite and understanding of our situation, the overall conditions of the hotel and the services provided were completely unacceptable.
Our stay started terribly on the ground floor. The mattress in our first room was covered in visible stains and leftover hair from previous guests, the windows were broken and would not close properly, and there was a persistent, unbearable sewage smell throughout the room.
Because of these conditions, we decided to pay for an upgrade to the 5th floor to move into a somewhat usable space, but the issues continued. The soundproofing is non-existent, so you can hear absolutely everything from neighboring rooms including intimate events, alongside loud noise late into the night. Sleeping was virtually impossible.
Housekeeping is practically non-existent. For three straight days, towels left on the floor were never changed or collected, even though they were soaked because of a poorly designed bathtub that leaked water all over the bathroom floor. On top of that, the bed was never made, and basic amenities were completely missing, leaving us with only two tiny 25ml shower gel bottles and no shower caps or cotton swabs.
To make matters worse, the restaurant staff showed a total lack of professionalism. At breakfast, a hotel employee literally asked us to get up and leave our table because it was his table and he was waiting for his friends. It is completely unacceptable for a paying guest to be removed from a table by an employee.
We only appreciate the kindness of the reception staff. Otherwise, the hotel is an absolute wreck where nothing has been modernized or managed properly. Avoid this place if you do not want to ruin your vacation and waste your money.

A Lesson Learned: We Would Not Stay Here Again
Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel fell well below expectations, and we believe the price paid was not justified by the quality of the services provided.
The cleanliness of the rooms left a great deal to be desired. It seemed that housekeeping was limited to the bare minimum at the beginning of the stay, after which any commitment to cleanliness appeared to disappear. The bathroom, sink, and toilet did not give the impression of having been properly sanitized, and throughout our stay, trash, packaging, and other waste were not consistently removed, resulting in the room not being maintained to an acceptable standard.
Our interaction with Mr. Emrah Bechir at the reception desk was equally disappointing. Upon arrival, we were not informed about the hotel’s facilities or provided with any useful information regarding our stay. We later discovered that vouchers offering a 50% discount on beach sunbeds were available, yet these were never offered to us. Based on the way the interaction unfolded, we were left with the impression that other guests of Roma ethnicity received considerably more attention and assistance. As a result, we paid RON 120 for two sunbeds, a cost that could have been reduced had we been informed about these vouchers.
Breakfast was, without exaggeration, an example of how poor organization can become routine. For six consecutive days, the menu remained virtually unchanged. The dishes were often inadequately cleaned, mugs still showed visible traces from previous use, and the uniforms worn by some staff members did not inspire confidence in terms of hygiene. The overall organization appeared lacking, with the staff giving the impression that each morning came as an unexpected challenge, despite the same service being repeated every day. Food items ran out quickly regardless of whether you arrived at 8:00 a.m. or 9:00 a.m., and the absence of food labels turned breakfast into a guessing game.
Overall, our stay was deeply disappointing. Significant improvements are needed in several areas, including cleanliness, organization, communication with guests, and the overall quality of service. Regrettably, we cannot recommend this hotel, as we do not believe the price charged reflects the standard of accommodation and service provided.

Rudimental hotel, not for families with small children
I do not recommend it as a hotel for families with small children or in general, only if you take the extra room for children. In any case, the room does not offer any place to relax suitable for children.
Among the few positive aspects of the stay, we mention the indoor and outdoor playground for children, together with the pool that has water entry levels that allow different ages of children to play.
There are parking spaces, you just need to be patient to find one. The parking lot is not paved, only with pebbles.
FYI: the first 5 parking spaces in front of the hotel are theoretically for people with hanficap, but practically for those with cars and money
Aspects that leave something to be desired:
The room:
- the curtains are only decorative elements, they do not help to make the room dark or stop the sun's heat
- the refrigerator is yellow and antique, I think that if I sell it with the money received, they will be able to get a new version with a decent cost
- the air conditioning works... however, it takes a long time to cool down, I recommend the rabla program for an update to this as well
- the floor was not mopped/washed
- there are no facilities for children in the rooms. However, the hotel's expectations are that 1 child can sleep in the bed with the parents
- although I requested a cot, and I understood that it is based on availability and the level of occupancy, it did not exist or was mentioned by the staff. Luckily, we took the baby mattress from home
- the light bulb in the hallway in the room and in front of the room does not work
+ as a positive aspect: they took the trash, brought towels and put paper daily
The public bathrooms (reception or restaurant) leave a lot to be desired. The doors don't close (the women's bathroom in the reception area), there is soap or paper sometimes, quarantine also sometimes. They managed to put a toilet brush, after the mess was floating in the toilet the day before.
Breakfast there are options (but don't expect quality)
-4 types of eggs (fried, stuffed, boiled, scrambled), 4 types of cereals (although one is a mix made from the others), cold appetizers (2 types of ham, 1 type of salami, 1 cheese, cheese) + 3/4 types spreadable options (zacusca, roe, I haven't tried the other 2)
- crushed tomatoes (probably cut the night before)
- fruit plate (sometimes no tongs for taking)
- fruit tart, biscuits and sponge cake
-bread (the cheapest possible and poor quality)
- Coffee, tea, water and juices
The tables have the same tablecloths for at least 2 days in a row (with all the stains left from the previous guests), only the tights.
There are seats for babies/toddlers, but they require cleaning before use. No help for the baby seat from the staff, like bringing it to the table or even cleaning it.
There is a light at the end of the tunnel and maybe in a few years the hotel will be at the 3-star level. At the moment there are many aspects that require improvement.

Escape to the sea
The hotel is modernized and looks good, the pool is maintained and spacious. In terms of services, there are problems. Towels have not been changed in 3 days, breakfast is the same every day and the dining place does not resemble a restaurant, everything is chaotic
