Nice hotel in Bucharest close to the airport!

We stayed only one night in Ancor and we were satisfied with our choice. The hotel is close to the airport and Baneasa shopping centre and is located in a very quiet area. It may be difficult to find without a map but it's ok. The rooms are nicely decorated , very clean like the entire hotel. The reception staff was very kind and polite to us. Maybe they would need an elevator . They have a large private parking lot. We didn't have breakfast so nothing to say about that. We had a nice experience and I recommend it to anyone who is in transit or needs a comfortable hotel close to the airport.

Poor experience

When we did arrive at the Hotel, a car was parked in front of the entrance door, and it was hard to enter the lobby. The reception staff was doing a good job but was not smiling at all, and we did not feel welcomed. They have no lift, and our room was on the 2nd floor, therefore it was a little tricky for us after a long day to carry all the baggage on the stairs.
Moreover, the carpet in the room is smelly, and the room 305 was a little dirty and dusty. It was decorated with a low budget and poorly. The bathroom was not clean, and I did not felt right to take a bath there. The AC was not cleaned in months. I do not think I will go with my wife there again.

Average stay, good on space, not ok on overall experience. Will pick something else next time.

Rooms was very spacious, and was very clean.
There was no elevator, I mean the property is next to airport, and there is no room on ground floor. Our room was on 2nd floor, and had to manually carry heavy suitcase 2 flights of stairs. So unless you are travelling light weight or have a strong back, I suggest look elsewhere. Additionally, there was no staff to help with luggage.
First place which would not provide me hot water kettle for coffee. A big minus.
Bathroom was smelling bad, the lady at reception said she cannot do anything, we should switch on the exhaust, it worked, but then there was noise of exhaust all the time.
Stayed for 1 night, saw just one staff in the entire hotel, from afternoon till next morning, the lady at the reception, little weird.

Nice hotel , for one night !!!

I arrive for 3 night , first one nice clean ... second night I enter late and my surprise it was they didn't make the room cleaning only fresh towels and no more , no make the bed or clean the garbage very disappointing . Personal was rude and not to helpful when you ask something special is one big lady woe in the lobby of the hotel , that she don't even want to see the room The only thing I can recommend is come for one night !!

Very good staff

I was there for businees, the company for witch i'am working get us room in there, so the room was nice, eith air conditionated machine, ps coffe at reception for clients it's for free, actually it's the for hotel with this policy.
