Great location and facilities

This hotel is conveniently located in Kigali, close to many useful activities at work.
There are also many super cute places right nearby.
The rooms are clean and spacious, there is a beautiful courtyard where you can rest outdoors, with continental breakfast and kitchen always available.
At reception you will find Giselle and Linda always available and very polite and cute.

Miss Universe

I was passing through and wanted to spend a night in Kigali, Rwanda. I decided to stay at Legend hotel for one night. The hotel is beautiful, and the staff were nice. The furnished room was old. The first room had no hot water. The second room was so small. The sink had no hot water. The shower water was so weak that no water came out. I will never come back

Despite me following up several times prior to arrival to ensure everything was in order, hotel staff did not seem to be aware I was coming. Clerk at reception told me I needed to pay immediately and also pay an additional amount for my wife. She was expressing an unusual and strange urgency regarding this while I got my documents out proving to her that I had already paid in full for two guests via Hotels.com. This exchange set the tone and made me uncomfortable.
Room was not tidy upon arrival and lacked towels and toilet paper.
They did end up cleaning the room properly on the second day.
I think overall this may have been a decent hotel pre pandemic but they no longer seem to have any idea of how to run a hotel unfortunately.
