Great service!
The facility was nice, and the staff was fantastic! They were able to help me with any questions I had. The facility was great for conferences. I held a conference with roughly 25 attendees, and the facility worked really well. The food is also very good!

We spent one night in Virunga hotel, that is located is a noisy road
The rooms are well equipped and clean. The beds are comfortable.
Food is good.
The major concern is that the hotel is not located close to the Volcanoes national park headquarter, from where gorillas and golden monkeys trekking begin. Thus, you have to wake up earlier to be in good condition for the general briefing regarding gorillas and golden monkeys trekking!!!
The rooms are well equipped and clean. The beds are comfortable.
Food is good.

Very average hotel
Most of the pictures advertised look newer and renovated which was definitely not what we were accommodated in. The room was very small and old, worst shower of our entire trip,absolutely no pressure just dropped on you. There's a window low enough in there that someone can just look right in and potentially even open. The closet wouldn't even budge open so we couldn't even use it. The bed was clean but is like sleeping on the concrete it was so hard my hips hurt. Even paying $60US to sleep here was not worth it. I'd say its maybe worth half considering what we've stayed in in other parts of the world. It's about a half hour drive from the volcanoes national park. It was very noisy as well, in a busy area. Also be prepared that the credit card machines may not work, they tend to not work at alot of places.
The only thing good I have to say is the staff, they are very nice and very helpful, laundry service was great, breakfast service was good in the morning as well but beware of the food. I got ecoli poisoning from a dinner item and was sick for 10 days of my trip.Clearly ecoli is from unclean hands or surfaces so someone in the kitchen is making mistakes.Even though the food tasted really good you never know.

A strategic stop
I was quite pleased with my stay here for a number of reasons.
The hotel is set in the central business area so it was rather easy to go out for a walk and to do some shopping. A few shops near by sell the lendary honey and Gouda cheese of the area that's of very good quality.
The rooms are large enough, with toiletries and necessary accompaniments in the room. My room a VIP as it was referred to head a little balcony that had tinted windows so I sat there mornings and enthusiasm and watched as street activity buzzed.
The bathroom was modern and well equipped with week running water birth hot and cold.
The WIFI was very strong enough and kept so all through my 3 days there.
The staff are a group of young w0 somethings, very professional and courteous which was a welcome relief. They were also polite and very helpful were needed.
The breakfast on the first day was dissapointing as one had to fill some kind of form just to get their meal. However the next day things changed as weer had complained and thus breakfast was the usual buffet with a number of fruits to chose from.
I loved my stay here and would be sure to come back. Only downside was the mattress which was a little bit tooth but fair enough if you are tired.

A éviter absolument !
Lorsque nous sommes arrivés à l’hôtel nous étions plus que ravis à première vue, les chambres sont grandes et propres, l’accueil est également très agréable.
Le premier soir nous n’avions pas d’eau dans les sanitaires, nous avons appelé la réception et ça a été réglé rapidement. Ça se reproduit le lendemain mais seulement après 40 minutes d’attente et une dizaine de coups de fils! Après avoir fait une randonnée dans les volcans c’est plus que désagréable.
La cuisine est loin d’être bonne, sans compter le petit déjeuner qui n’est pas sous forme de buffet mais un repas à sélectionner sur une feuille à usage unique, manque d’organisation, de facilité et d’écologie.
Le pire est que le système bancaire ne fonctionne pas, en revenant de notre excursion nous nous sommes donc arrêtés à une banque pour retirer l’argent pour payer le lendemain, quelle surprise lorsque au moment de payer on se rend compte qu’il nous manque une partie de cet argent... je n’y retournerai plus !
