Exceptional Hospitality and Artistry at Maison Soleil
Absolutely wonderful stay at Maison Soleil! The apartments were exceptionally clean, beautifully maintained, and offered everything one could need for a relaxing holiday. The location is simply perfect—just a short stroll from the most stunning beach on Mahé.
A special mention must go to the owner, Andrew, whose politeness and impeccable manners made us feel incredibly welcome from the very first moment. The service throughout our stay was faultless, thanks also to Nimur, who was always so friendly, helpful and went above and beyond for us—huge thanks to him once again!
An added bonus is the excellent WiFi throughout the property and even Netflix available in the room, which was perfect for unwinding after a day on the beach. What’s more, you can really sense Andrew’s artistic spirit throughout the décor and arrangement of the place—every detail reflects his unique creativity and personal touch. I can wholeheartedly recommend Maison Soleil to anyone visiting Mahé—truly a gem in paradise!

Once again, an unforgettable time!
We've been to Maison Soleil several times and are always very happy with our stay. It was another wonderful time.
The location is great, and the accommodation is always nice, with a lot of care and attention to detail. The atmosphere is very welcoming and cozy. Andrew and his team make sure that everything is perfect with their great service and friendly attitude. No matter what issue you might have in this paradise, they are always ready to help and find a solution.
This place is always our first choice on this side of the island. It has everything we need to feel comfortable and take care of ourselves. What we especially like is the equipment: a nice outdoor shower, an outdoor kitchen, air conditioning, and a fan for the hot days, plus a small garden with a barbecue – all surrounded by beautiful nature.
The location is also amazing. Three beautiful beaches are just a 15-minute walk away, which makes the stay even better. For those who find walking difficult or want to explore more, we recommend having a car.

Living in the Vanilla Suite
We stayed here for 5 days and felt very comfortable. Since the toilet was repaired in our booked accommodation of the Cinnamon Suite, we were offered the large vanilla suite at no additional fee and were allowed to stay in it all the time. The rooms are all very lovingly decorated and with the eye for small details. Even a beautiful bouquet of flowers was on the table. The landlord Andrew is very friendly and helpful. On arrival he had for us an initial equipment for breakfast in the fridge. That was very nice as we didn't have to go shopping. When Booking Referral via Explorer it had been said that we can book breakfast on site. However, that was not the case. That wasn't too bad for us now, but maybe you should know beforehand.
Also, in the 5 days our room was cleaned only once and not daily, as read in several reviews and also at Booking com before. We did not find that tragic either. But in between we got fresh fruits and vegetables from the home garden, which made us very happy. We also had free filtered water available. Also a washing machine with washing powder was available and could be used by us. If we had a problem, Andrew and his staff took care of it promptly.
We would stay here again anytime.

thank you for taking the time to write this review about your wonderful time here at Maison Soleil. We are sorry you did not get the room you had booked but I know you were very happy with the upgrade to Vanilla Suite. There is confusion on the website you booked regarding breakfast. We have never offered breakfast, only giving a free breakfast starter pack on arrival. Something got lost in translation I guess, I will check this!

Great location to the southwest beaches of Mahé. Walk or drive to Anse Soleil and snorkel around the rocks at low tide for the best visibility.

Holiday in paradise
A warm welcome and superb accommodation in a quiet, tropical setting with the most stunning beach (Anse Soleil) just a 10 minute walk down the hill .... we had truly arrived in paradise! (The walk back up the hill from the beach does take longer than 10 minutes, it is quite steep).
Maison Soleil is beautifully kept & very comfortable. Filtered water is always available. The apartments have privacy. The gardens are neat and tidy. To stay at Maison Soleil is to experience the most relaxing holiday. Will be back!!
