Stunning Slovenia

Our first time to Slovenia consisted of 3 days in Ljubljana and the remaining 4 exploring the Logar Valley.
We chose The Planinka due to proximity and it looked quiet. The hotel manager ( Helena) is always on hand during breakfast service and my goodness, it’s extremely plentiful. Her son who checked us in when we arrived is a credit to the owners, so helpful and polite - please don’t ever change as you will definitely go far in life!
We did not eat in the hotel during the evening as went out locally but I can only imagine it would have been great. We parked outside the hotel with no problems at all and that’s all included.
Pros: Lovely surroundings and hotel spotlessly clean with a fantastic breakfast.
Cons: I personally would have liked a bathtub configured into the bathroom plus the bed to be softer and Air - Con in the rooms. ( This was the only thing we struggled with)

The dinner in the hotel was superb. I'm sure that one day it will be discovered by the Michelin guide.

Great!

Excellent stay in this beautiful hotel located not far from the beautiful Logarska valley. Perfect room, spacious, very clean, beautiful bathroom with shower and bathtub, impeccable bedding. Excellent breakfast with local produce. Possibility to dine in the gourmet restaurant in the evening. Very friendly and attentive welcome. Do not hesitate to stay there!

Superb food and lovely village location

We were a little disappointed that the restaurant was closed on the first of our 2 night stay. However the meal we had on the second night was superb and we opted for the wine selections for each course offered by the hotel which also worked really well. Breakfast too was excellent with great selection and some beautiful fresh fruit. Staff very helpful and friendly. Would love to stay again

Exceptionally nice hotel

Everything was perfect in this cozy hotel. The bathroom and the rooms are very spacious and everything was spotlessly clean. The whole house is very attractive.
> The breakfast buffet is very extensive and good. There is everything and more that you could wish for.
We only stayed one night, but we enjoyed the menu and wine. The manager of the house kindly took us to the beautiful and extensive wine cellar, where we learned interesting things about the wines and wine enjoyment.
We would love to stay here again and enjoy it.
