Great stay!

Great hotel facing the ocean. Clean rooms, affordable stay, and very friendly staff. They offer limited parking in garage nearby, 12 euros a day. Street parking is available as well for free. Nice restaurants in the area, also by the ocean.

Horrible without doubt

Horrible hotel in A Coruña a horrible smell very dirty without free park, unfortunate puts photos and arrives if there is another very different thing , it is not justified in the time we are having hotels so cost me to say but the azai goes very side do not know why do not see these things

Bad service, little hygiene, lack of breakfast, car park and noise during the night, that is, there is no acoustic privacy, the worst hotel to date, the sympathy of the owner is zero, I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.
It was a nightmare.

I hesitate between kitsch or dilapidated

Already on the internet we advertise room at 40€ and on site it goes to 53 rear view and 80 sea view… upon entering the hotel then in the room I found that the parquet floor was beautiful and the decor from another time… in the facts: bathroom door does not close bathtub leaks sink and bathtub have burst enamel… room side correct size clean and comfortable bedding, solid wood furniture in its original condition but in very good condition but no 2nd pillow a torn armchair in a corner cigarette burns and the smell of tobacco. As for the service, a slate offers breakfast but the gentleman at reception tells us that we will have to go to the restaurant a little further away, a broken shower and shampoo dispenser... in short, to try if you like to travel to the past... alone good point: breathtaking view of the Hercules tower and the seaside, very nice.

Asked to move rooms at 22:30 at night with a baby

The walls are wafer thin, you can hear conversations and chair movement from other rooms. On Saturday night there were two girls singing and banging on doors in the corridor, this is not the hotels fault however they seemed to deal with the situation poorly.
Come sunday night (22:30) my friend has a baby and we were in her room when we recieved a phone call from the hotel receptionist saying there is a noise complaint. We explained it was probably the baby ( they were just babbling away, not crying), they asked for us to move rooms. They were nice and gave an upgrade, however it was 22:30 the baby was ready for bed and we had to pack up the belongings and move rooms causing a lot of disturbance. The staff were apologetic and explained that they knew about the singing girls at 3am the night before ( I think they could see our frustration from the previous night regarding the real noise complaints) but it isn't really very good customer service.
They realistically should've moved those who complained rather than asking a mother and a 4 month old baby move rooms at 22:30 at night.
There was also a confusion regarding our booking. The lady on reception asked us to pay, although our money had been taken out of our account from booking.com
The rooms are clean, shower is good.
Just a shame about the events which took place and how they were handled. Also, limited English, so if you do not know spanish you may struggle ( our friend is Spanish so we communicated through her).

Estimado cliente, en nuestro hotel como puede ver a través del operador que usted hizo su reserva, puede ver que nos admitimos niños menores de 16 años, y es por la cuestión por que tuvimos que pedirle que se cambiara de habitación, creo que usted debería empatizar y pensar un poco mas antes de hacer algunos comentarios, fui yo quien de buena fé para solucionar el problema que se estaba ocasionando al dejarle estar con su bebe y sus amigas en su habitaciones molestando a varias habitaciones que nada tenían que ver con ustedes, pero usted entiende que quien tenia que cambiar eran a las otras 5 habitaciones!! en fin!!, y nosotros calentando biberones!.... podemos ser conscientes de nosotros mismos, pero deberíamos ser conscientes de los demás., cosa que alguna gente joven como que le cuesta un poco absorber! de igual modo muchas gracias, ya sabemos que la humildad en estos tiempos no abunda mucho! Intentamos hacer un favor y recibimos golpes! gracias...
