Friendly and tranquilo!

We had a very nice stay at Lagarto! The Italian owners are very friendly and helpfull. The place is decorated beautifully, al constructed by the owner. The breakfast they serve is delicious. Thank you very much for staying. Muchas gracias por todo.

Nothing recommended

Very disappointing experience. To access the accommodation you need to climb a lot of stairs after leaving the car in a small public parking lot, located in an area of very narrow streets, which is quite uncomfortable, especially with luggage.
The state of the accommodation leaves much to be desired: antique and unkempt furniture, and used-smell sheets, as if they had not been changed for new guests. In addition, they had balls of wear for prolonged use, which conveys a clear lack of hygiene.
The rooms are interior, without any natural ventilation to the outside, as they face directly into the living room of the house. Nor do they have closets, only two hangers, something clearly insufficient.
To make matters worse, the breakfast listed as included in the reservation was never offered. The owner claimed that she could not serve it because she had a fever, but the accommodation does not even have adequate space to eat breakfast, which raises doubts that this service is provided in conditions at any time.
In short, the accommodation does not meet the advertised nor the minimum standards of comfort and cleanliness. I wouldn't recommend it.

Authentic overnight stay in a mountainside home.

If you want to stay in a typical mountain house, this is a must. Don't expect luxury but above all an authentic experience. The stay is run by a very expressive Spanish lady, she only speaks Spanish but her daughter assists her with Google Translate .
You will be assigned a room with a window that opens onto the dining area...the bathroom is common with the other 3 rooms. Breakfast is standard. But such an overnight stay tells so much more about life in Gran Canaria. I recommend everyone to bring this experience.

Séjour conforme à nos attentes

Excellent rapport qualité-prix, c'est une location de chambres simples et propres, pour personnes en bonne santé: 150 marches à gravir, impossible avec les valises qui doivent rester dans la voiture (devrait prévenir!), petit déjeuner très simple mais bon, place de parking dans le quartier pas trop loin.
