Treated with Disrespect and Prejudice
We arrived around 1:30 AM after another hotel kindly helped us find a room here due to an honest reservation mistake. They had already explained our situation before we arrived.
From the moment we walked in, the receptionist was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. When our cards were declined (despite having sufficient funds on three different cards from different banks), instead of checking whether there was an issue with the payment terminal, he immediately assumed we had no money and repeatedly told us, “If you don’t have the funds, you can’t stay here.”
We even offered to show him our bank accounts to prove we had the funds, but he refused to listen. We then offered to pay in cash, but after my husband complained about the way we were being treated, the receptionist gave the cash back and refused to rent us the room. My husband had to ask him to please accept the payment because it was the middle of the night and we had nowhere else to go.
The way we were treated was humiliating. As Latinos, we genuinely felt that we were judged and treated differently because of our accent and background. Whether intentional or not, the experience felt discriminatory and completely lacked basic respect and hospitality.
This was one of the worst hotel check-in experiences we’ve ever had.

restaurant is great for lunch and dinner. Breakfast was ok, but relatively limited.
Liked the pool
Wifi was very bad, and no matter how many times we complained nothing changed

Neglected hotel
But it's sloppy.
The pool is out of order.
The dining room has a hole in the ceiling of a leak. And a lot of dried herbs hanging out.
The reception was unkind. They charge you on arrival.
Parking is for a fee and is a sandy plot.
The rooms have stains on the wall. Mold in the bathroom. And the doors swollen.
You hear the noise of the highway.
The views were ugly. To a shed.
He doesn't deserve all four stars.
Breakfast was very simple. They didn't have wholemeal bread. No fried eggs. No digging. No wine.
They don't put courtesy water in the room.
No amenities.
Reception in the main house, where the restaurant is.
Rooms in separate building.
The building is open and can be accessed from the restaurant car park, which is open to the public. Poor security.
Its location is close to the highway in a housing estate. (it is not between vineyards as they say on their website )
In short, I didn't like it.
They lack maintenance and take care of the details.
