Good place for a short stay in Barcelona

Nice hotel on the Southern end of Las Ramblas. Close to the metro station and the cruise terminal. Plenty of shopping, restaurants, and a supermarket for whatever you may need. We were able to check in early but normal check in is 3pm. Front desk staff were friendly. Housekeeping staff were excellent. Clean comfortable room for our 1 night stay. Booked on booking.com. Good place if you are only staying a few nights in Barcelona.

Location is good but the hotel is bad. No kettle no tea coffee or water in the room. AC not working properly and bed was very uncomfortable. They did nothing even after I complained

Worst hotel experience ever

One of the worst hotel experiences of my life. What kind of hotel doesn’t have coffee machine in the room? What kind of hotel cannot provide ice cubes more than 4 cubes in the room! For the price we paid for this hotel it’s a shame. Never ever stay here.

Excellent!

We booked a 4 nighter in Barcelona with TUI & after looking at the offered options decided on Ikonik Ramblas in particular because of its location - right on La Rambla & very close to the Gothic quarter. It looked OK but hotels in high tourist areas can be a bit of a lottery so I was a little cautious, unnecessarily as it turned out. This is a really nice hotel. The rooms are smart & in good condition, the staff are pleasant & welcoming & the daily clean is to a high standard. Rooms have all the expected amenities with one exception - there was no tea/coffee facility in our room (although the other one in our party did have it in her room). It turned out to be no disadvantage anyway as we spent every morning in the pavement cafe opposite drinking coffee & people watching - no better way to start the day! I'd hoped this hotel would be OK but it turned out to be a lot better than just OK. Nice rooms, prime location & friendly staff - you'd be hard pushed to find anything better. Definitely recommended.

Hotel is at a very convenient location and walkable from the Aeroporto bus stop at the north end of Ramblas. Breakfast was fine. Our room faces the interior alleys, but was still sometimes noisy during the night.
