A Home in Blanes, A casa and Blanes! Low budget with a first-class feel

I was so scared after I read the reviews. But on arrival it felt immediately good. The hostal looks very cozy and authentic. The staff is super welcoming and helpful. The beds were good and the room clean! The fan cools the room well. Of course you sometimes hear holidaymakers in the evening but absolutely no nuisance. It is a quiet street with two mini supermarkets. At the end of the street you walk directly onto the beach and you can divert to the tourist part or to the center.
In the afternoon the bar/kitchen is closed but the staff made me a delicious espresso. My youngest son was dreading a long walk and I didn't know what to do. The lovely man who worked, took out his laptop and showed the route via Google earth. What reassurance! Child happy, mother happy! And a beautiful walk made, El cami de ronda! Highly recommended! So much beauty to see along the coast there.
For a low budget price / hostel we had a first class experience! Homely Mood and warm people! The cleaning is perfect and the cleaning staff also very friendly! Hotel room was cozy with a nice balcony overlooking the famous rock of Blanes. Everything is within walking distance! Just book, don't hesitate!

Great value hostel in a brilliant location

Pleasantly surprised. Fantastic location, super friendly and helpful staff.
Bedroom was on the small side and basic, but was spotlessly clean , fans supplied, good shower and plenty of hot waster.
Breakfast was well presented, fresh, varied and plentiful

Room is clean. Bathroom tiny.
Pillow on the bed way too soft.
The rooms are very hot no air con.
The bar is only open for breakfast between 8 am and 11 am. So nothing a nice drink on the terrace. Everything except reception is closed
We experienced that as a major disadvantage.
Would not book this hostel for a second time.

All I can say is location is good

All I can say is the location is good. The pictures are very old. No restaurant, pool table, etc. The bathroom is extremely tiny and our’s flooded the room. The room was hot even with the ceiling fan on. I did like the balcony. The bed was hard and the pillows were nothing. I can’t imagine staying for more than a few nights.

Clean and friendly staff but issue with drains and no balcony so roasting hot.

On arrival greeted by really friendly staff. Didn’t expect much as paid for budget holiday. Room & bathroom both small but clean. The problem was the smell from drains it was awful, even after cleaners tried every disinfectant. Room hot, tiny balcony 1M x 1m
