Great location,Great size, price and very helpful' friendly staff

Went Oct. 2016 . A basic holiday apartment and better than I expected for that price. Wanted to come again in 2017 but its being updated and no bookings or prices yet. Loved sitting on the balcony . Lovely view and in sunshine. Lawrence the desk manager was such a good welcoming manager and always happy and friendly I hope he is kept on as he is a asset to the business. Hopefully will be back staying there again.

NOT CALLED MONAC BEACH APT. ANYMORE

This place is no longer called Monac Beach apartments.It has been totally revamped and is now a possible 5 star hotel called AMARAC APARTMENTS. The Chinese restaurant -takeaway which used to be at the bottom of the apartments is no longer there.
Unfortunately, not the cheap and cheerful basic accomodation anymore, you will have to dig a lot deeper in your pockets to stay here, and from what I have seen, it looks totally modern with clean cut lines.

Good value

The bad: Old and used apartment (doors, windows, funiture, everything), bad isolation (loud until midnight), tiny TV, dirty floors when arriving, dirty dishes/pots, no dishwashing liquid, no AC (was ok in June), no toiletries, no free WiFi, paid WiFi only in the lobby, no closet in 2nd bedroom.
The good: price, price, price, location (next to the main shopping walkway, 1 minute from the beach, many great restaurants nearby, 3 minutes from large free car park), 2 bedrooms, kitchen, balcony, clean towels/bed sheets/pillows, friendly staff, elevator.
You get what you pay for. Overall ok for us for 4 nights. We are not very picky/fussy though ;)

Excellent

Apartment is very basic, only bare essentials in the kitchen. Two bedrooms with 2 single beds, wardrobes. Beautiful beach a 5 min walk. The best ever Manager, Lawrence. Would we stay here again..ABSOLUTELY.

Exceptional value for your money

I'll start by saying we, a group of 9 adults and 1 child occupying 2 lots of 2 bed self catering apartments, absolutely loved our stay! Lorenzo and all staff are so lovely, they literally couldn't do enough to help you. The hotel was clean, everything worked and was suitable for use, airy, perfectly positioned, the most perfect beautiful white sandy beach within 2 minutes stroll, restaurants, bars and shops right at your doorstep, all open till very late. This hotel does not deserve the negative comments made about it. If you want 5 stars, if you want peace and quiet, towels and linen changed daily with maid service on call 24 hours a day then you need to go pay the 5 star kind of prices. Between the 10 of us in our group, we've all stayed and visited various parts of Majorca and we can honestly say that The hotel is amazing value for money and Cala millor, in our opinion, is simply the best beach on the entire island. We will definitely come back and cant recommend this hotel, the staff and all of Cala millor as a holiday destination enough.
