Reception staff were very friendly and always able to answer questions about the hotel and the town. The entire hotel is impeccably clean and the restaurant offers good service with friendly wait staff. The hotel is located nearby a bus stop to get into the historic city center and a 5-minute walk from the modern city's restaurants and shopping. Being located near the edge of town also made it easy to get in and out for day trips to the surrounding area's attractions. Parking was a good value at 20 € a night, but the garage is small so I recommend emailing the hotel in advance to reserve your spot. My family had a great stay and would definitely book here again if we have the chance to return to Cuenca!

All fine

Not much to report here, this hotel is fine, located fairly central to the centre of Cuenca with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. My room was ample, included a decent TV with a moderate selection of channels. There was a safe in the room, 2 good sized single beds. The bathroom was well appointed and fairly big although hadn't been re-tiled since the '80s as far as I could tell, but all the tiles worked. Plenty of hot water, and everything very clean. Given that I had found this hotel through late booking and paid just €59 I was satisfied. There is secure parking in the basement garage - an additional €10 which isn't unreasonable. There's a security light which comes on when you drive in, but somewhat annoyingly, this only stays on for about 20 seconds. If you're on a motorbike, this is not nearly enough time to organise your bags, attach your locks, stow your helmet etc. Which meant using the torch on my mobile phone, which was inconvenient. I'm all for power saving, but there was no way to turn the light back on once it was off, and that garage was pitch black. Still, these days we live in a mobile phone era. Trying to light your way with a zippo in an underground garage could be a stupid way to go. Although most of the ways to go are stupid, when you think about it.

Spacious room and good bathroom.

The hotel room is very good in terms of space and the size of the bathroom, although the soundproofing (with the adjacent room) could be improved, and noise from people in the hallways is also heard. We also do not think it is fair that for breakfast you do not have the option of just a coffee and a toast, for example, and if you want to have that, you have to pay for the full breakfast of 14 euros. The hotel is well located, although to get to the cathedral area, it is advisable to take the bus, as it is all uphill with significant slopes. You can park in the area, and it is recommended to do so through a mobile app to avoid having to renew the ticket every two hours.

Highly recommended.

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel, and honestly, both the cleanliness, facilities, and staff treatment are very good.
It should be noted that parking spaces are limited, and it is advisable to reserve at the time of booking the room.
There is a parking lot in front, but the downside is that it is not affiliated with the hotel, and the price is high; it would be considerate for the hotel to take my point into account for the customers.
Regarding the distance to the old town, it is not, in my opinion, excessively far; what is tiring are the steps and slopes to get there, and the hotel is not to blame for that.
Quiet with a very pleasant terrace.
Nearby, there are bars with spacious terraces where you can enjoy excellent tapas.
I hope to return soon to this beautiful city.
