Good choice

We stayed in the hostel only 1 night, the room was clean, sink ok and comfortable beds.
The restaurant is not operational but you can have breakfast.
We're leaving happy.

Nice typical hotel

We had booked a room for 5 (2 AD and 3 children) by email. Arrived on site although the reception is open from 10 to 20h, we had to phone to enter and check in. It looked complicated for the lady with our Belgian cards but we got there and the room was spacious, very quiet and nice to sleep there.

Comfort and tranquility

We spent a night as a family in a spacious room for 4, with a television in the main room and another one in the living room. The mattresses and pillows are very comfortable (not usually the norm in most places). Located in a beautiful spot surrounded by gardens and with the municipal swimming pool next door. Very good soundproofing from the outside. They have a small museum that we loved. The breakfast was plentiful and great value. Right next door there is a restaurant where you can eat quite well. Overall, a site I 100% recommend.

Somewhat different hotel

This is a quite rustic hotel, surrounded by a garden with trees and different styles and sizes of "huts". The owners are very friendly, authentically friendly, not the practicised, fake "friendliness" you often see at large hotels. We had a room with a nice balcony, very clean and simple. I found the bed a bit hard, but I am sure one gets used to it. Good hotel at a very reasonable price and well located, at the edge of L'Espluga. It takes a 30 minutes walk to reach the Poblet monastery ...

Stylish and great value

Hostal del Senglar is an ideal base to explore Publet monastery and Montblanc. But it is not just another generic stop-over point. The hotel follows a very nice concept of a rustic countryside mason, realized through lobby, restaurant, room and even courtyard layout and design. Everything is clean and neat. Good breakfast and service, plenty of parking space, low cost. It was very nice to enjoy a glass of wine on a room balcony after dinner. Highly recommended
