Celebration getaway
We stayed as a family of 4 in 2 rooms, purpose of the trip was to celebrate, parents in law 50th wedding anniversary . I emailed the hotel prior to the visit ,a small bottle of fizz and a congratulations card were waiting when we arrived.The hotel is very clean and the standard of food for a 3 star hotel was above average and a reasonable choice . The staff are very friendly . The catering and waiting staff in the Resturant especially . Ordering an omelette at breakfast is a must . A big plus is the hotel is less than 25 meters to the beach, ideal to lay on a hotel lounger and a short walk to cool off in the sea . Avoiding the need to rent expensive loungers on beach . The hotel is situated perfect for those who like a walk , which we did after our evening meal , with a promenade walk or a rural beach walk. There are local shops nearby and a market close to the hotel every Friday . The hotel seems strict about consuming food and drink purchased off site with notices up in public areas.( we do understand the reason why) but it seemed a little excessive with the signage . Thankfully this doesn’t appear to be enforced . I’m sure if challenged it would be unreasonable not to allow you to drink a bottle of water purchased elsewhere. On the whole a very enjoyable hotel and value for money, thank you

Not for family’s
100% honest review to start with no good for family’s at all nothing at all for kids to do, pools freezing cold, mini disco lasts for about 20 minutes a whole of 3 songs and is on so late at night!
Bingo goes on for about 2 hours most boring thing ever! Now the good points: cleaning staff amazing can’t thank them enough, all staff lovely apart from Antonio Jesus (bar waiter) attitude was appalling no manners and got the impression he just didn’t want to be there!, all other bar staff were fantastic! Balcony’s in dire need of a refurb they are awfull and get no sun on the side ones at all! Asked for a pool view got a side pool view with a huge palm tree blocking us! Avoid room 228! Also be warned to book superior room as hotel offers no family room 4 of us were cramped in a tiny room with 3 single beds and a cot literally couldnt move in the room! Also you have to pay for a fridge kettle everything be warned there’s nothing at all in your room most basic room we have ever stayed in! Arrived at 5am after hours of travelling got to room after check in to see no fridge no kettle nothing so at 5 am couldn’t make a bottle for baby or store milk something reception should of told us on arrival! Had to streakiest bottles in the bathroom sink for the rest of the week nightmare! Wouldn’t go back as no good for kids at all! Restaurant offered nuggets for kids 1 day out of 7! Otherwise no kids food in restaurant unless they like slabs of meat in gravy!

Dreadful
Awful place staff miserable waste of money rip off. Same entertainment each night .Drinks watered down food cold same food every day . We were on the second floor we had ants in the kitchen .lt was my boyfriend 's 40 tho I would never step foot in the hotel again . Staff miserable & rude very unhelpful .

Fantastic hoilday
We've just come back from our holiday and stayed at Son Baulo. It was our first time here and I can't wait to go back. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and the food, though smaller choice than were used to, there was plenty to choose from and it was restaurant quality
Special mention to Jan on reception who told of of all the local areas to see. David the entertainer was brilliant. You could really see how much he loved his job and he was very good at it. Antonio and Pedro the bar staff who always made sure your drinks were full and always service with a smile also another member of bar staff that I didn't catch his name who supplied us with water to pay at the bar later when I didn't realise that drinks weren't provided with dinner. Big thank you to all of you (sorry if I haven't spelt your names right).
I would recommend bringing coffee/tea with you as these are not provided in your room. A kettle is provided and there is a shop just across the road to buy some but if your like me and like a cuppa as soon as you arrive, bring it with you. Shampoo and shower gel is provided as well as soap and a shower cap.

Lovely little beach
Great little hide away, with good amenities. Cocktails, food and toilets. We went on a windy day so waves were choppy. But has Easy access for a long walk for the nature walk- take a camera with you for wildlife
