Una joya en el centro de Melilla
Hotel recién inaugurado. Todo nuevo. Es una maravilla. El personal super amable, las habitaciones muy acogedoras. Lo mejor es la localización, en pleno centro y muy cerca de todo. Nos trataron muy bien. Volveremos y lo recomendamos sin duda alguna!!

After 53 years I returned to Melilla the place where I was born.
We stayed for four days, we were 6 people. On arrival at reception everything was correct. We had half board contracted. Breakfasts quite well, along the lines of what we usually had breakfast at home and dinners were made in the hotel. Yamal and Carla’s attention during the Dinner Service was always polite, and they were always attentive to our needs; quite a success to have. As for the cuisine (I mean what we ate) they should consider changing certain dishes; for example: you can not put some calluses for dinner (which by the way were very good) and less two days in a row; the chicken curry was very delicious but for dinner, in my view, perhaps a little strong. Spectacular vegetable cream. So for Ahmed, Mohamed and Jorg our thanks for their good work. One last thing about a woman who seemed to be in charge and who I think I remember answered to the name Yamila, although we did not have a direct deal with her rating some tension between the aforementioned and the other staff and that unless one is somewhat observant is noticeable. Corrections/directions to the workers you may have under your responsibility must be made politely and outside the care of the customers who are currently on the premises. A greeting

Rooftop chill
The best was the bathroom, very new, large shower. It is really appreciated to be able to shower well in the heat that is outside. There was no balcony or view to anything but I imagine it's pq was full. Rooftop terrace with atmosphere at night.

NIGHTMARE !
What did i like...."Checking out" ! Also the location is very good.
Disliked · Had a confirmed booking, and several messages from the Hotel Melila Centro. However, we arrived at 21.45, after taking 2 flights and had been travelling for 18 hours..... to find we had NO ROOM! No reason why... just a shrug of the shoulders ! Crazy ! Using booking.com in year 2024, you would think you could feel safe using booking.com....... we called around the other hotels in Melilla and all were full. The Manager / Owner "suddenly" managed to find us a room, however, would not be ready until nearly 2 hours later, after a bed was moved into the room and it was cleaned. Got the room, NOT CLEAN - No Hot water that night or in the morning. Small rooms, no decor, just white walls and had the feel of a prison cell. Still paid full price. My Daughter and partner stayed there in mid June 2024, and was not impressed, my wife stayed there also, in the summer, as a solo traveller and also had a dirty room and no hot water. I can't believe I took a chance to give the hotel a 3rd chance. Our Advice is, stay at the Rusadir, Parador or the Melia Hotel when in Melilla. Always clean and have hot water and in good locations. Also, be aware that the hotel Bar is only open at the weekends !! It is such a shame that this hotel is very poor. The location is really good. The Owner and management need to get a grip, as the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. Will NOT stay again.
