Perfect!

This was an amazing experience! After rock climbing at Coll de Nargo all day, we head just a few kilometers north to Organya. Very easy to find Hotel Dom, as it's the very first thing on the left just before entering the town. Rustic look on the outside will a small farm with chickens, goats, dogs, and maybe even a pig located a bit behind the hotel.
We were checked in quickly by Val (the owner), who spoke excellent English and showed us our room. Stunning views of the countryside. Very comfortable amentites, a hot shower, comfy bed, fast wifi, and a small patio to enjoy the setting sun. Dinner downstairs as Restaurnate Val was damn fantastic. SO MUCH FOOD! The mushroom spaghetti was quite likely the best I've EVER had!
Highly, highly recommended!

convenient location, late meal

The hotel is located right on the main road to Andorra. It has a nice garden and on site parking. The hostess is friendly and English speaking and was helpful with suggestions about the area. Our room was on the first floor, up a flight of steps, since there is no elevator. It was a good size room and had a modern bath. Room 4 has a large terrace and overlooks the mountains across the valley. The hotel is on the south side of town, and about a 10 minute walk into the center. The restaurant offers a varied menu, running to grills and frites. We had kangaroo and a very good veal one night, and lamb the next. The fois gras salad was a treat. The downside of eating here, for us, is the fact the restaurant does not open until 8:45, which is late even by what we are encountering elsewhere in Spain. We prefer to eat where we stay and didn't like the idea of walking back to the hotel after dark. If a late dinner is fine with you, we recommend this hotel and restaurant, but for us, if we are in the neighborhood again, we will look for another option.

Wonderful!!!

We loved the Hotel Dom! It is perfectly situated for visiting the Pyrennes. We had a beautiful room with balconies offering spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. Our room was nicely appointed with a palatial bathroom. And, best of all, we had a fabulous dinner featuring local products and very fresh fish. We hope to return here and would highly recommend this hotel.

Great Stay

Lovely Hotel, nothing was too much trouble. Good food, at very reasonable prices and good size portions as well! Hotel was beside a main road, but traffic noise wasn't a problem. Orangya is a good base for walking, mountain climbing and visiting historic churches.

Eva the hotel proprietor is a lovlely lady, who will go out of her way to give you advice
about the best places to visit, and places of intreast.
Eva is also the hotel chef, the meals that she cooks are out of this world.
We have decided that we are retuning for a week in 2012.
