Never experienced Sitges? It's well worth a visit - especially Hotel Platjador!
Went with my travel buddy. Hadn't been back to Sitges for 35 years. Boy. It's grown in size, and the old town has changed – for the better. What were dwellings are now shops and restaurants. Amazing retail therapy, and you feel very safe walking around day or night. The hotel is superbly located. I highly recommend you try and get a room on the front with the sea view, which is magnificent. If you stay in the back, you see the other buildings in the town. Being on the front is so much quieter. None of the noise from the busy bars and clubs that are situated in the narrow streets behind the hotel. Sitges is a vibrant, lively town steeped in history with very well-maintained classic Spanish architecture. What's really appealing is you don't need taxis – everything is within strolling distance. A huge Mercadona is less than a 10-minute walk from the Platjador. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. Very clean, and the breakfast choice is five-star! There is a huge buffet, and items change daily. Of course all the standard fare is there, but there's so much extra choice. We were knocked out at the diversity of the buffet. They'll make you an omelette – just choose your ingredients and tell them how many eggs you want to hold your ingredients together with. Lovely, friendly staff, Nice pool (not huge, but there's a built-in jacuzzi and water massage beds built into the pool). Three big massage jets also get your shoulders. There is room to swim, but the massage beds inside the pool restrict it a little. I used it every day. If you haven't experienced Sitges, I highly recommend it and specifically the Plajador (roughly translated as 'Beachgoer') – which it definitely is, because it's about 40 paces to the sand. A lovely, clean seafront, too.

Perfect stay ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
What a practically perfect hotel!
We had a wonderful stay in a beautifully designed, incredibly comfortable pool-facing room (407). Having a fridge in the room was especially important for keeping my insulin cool, and this was much appreciated.
The housekeeping team, especially Rosa and Marie, were absolutely amazing. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they were always so friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was delicious every morning, with a fantastic variety of fresh food. The staff were more than happy to prepare fresh omelettes or any style of eggs we requested. Again, nothing was too much trouble.
The reception team were equally wonderful. All three were incredibly professional, welcoming and always happy to help. They even patiently entertained my husband every day as he practised his new Spanish phrases!
This was our third stay, and we already know we’ll be back again next year. The location is perfect, with plenty of restaurants in either direction when you step outside the hotel.
A huge thank you to the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable. We couldn’t recommend this hotel highly enough and are already looking forward to our next visit!

Pleasant hotel and service
We stayed at the Hotel Platjador for one night during the week; the hotel was very good and the service as well. We also enjoyed the very pleasant pool with its terrace. The only negative point, and this is not the hotel's fault, is that there are bars and clubs right nearby that generate a lot of noise at night, so I advise you to bring earplugs to be able to sleep peacefully. But otherwise the hotel itself was very good

We very like this hotel. The view from the rooftop bar is very nice. We also enjoyed the breakfast. Very good selection and it comes with cava. The pool is also great.

The air conditioning stopped working in 75% of the hotel. The staff strung guests along with saying it would be fixed for 2 days. If you can’t provide the services you advertise that’s false advertising. No apologies from staff, in fact they walked away from the front desk mid conversation and put up the “back in 5mins” sign. If you can’t deal with issues as a service provider, you’re in the wrong industry. Do not stay here!
