Met expectations

We on our way south along the east coast of Spain and needed a place to stay somewhere south of Barcelona. The choice fell on Hostal El Callejón in Tarragona which had the right price for our needs; great location not too far from the center, parking, free wifi, two beds and toilet in the room. With the help of our GPS it was easy to find the right street and we were warned that the street was narrow – and it was, a lot. On the other hand, there were plenty of parking spaces at the accommodation.
The reception was good and we quickly got the key to our room; it was maybe a bit cramped and lacked AC, but it was clean and had good beds. We did not notice any disturbing rail traffic. Breakfast was served in the cafeteria at the reception and was unexpectedly good with juice and muffins. I would consider returning here the next time we pass by (Tarragona turned out to be a nice city).

Cheap, basic

The bare minimum is there. Clean environments and free parking are the main positives. However, there is no hairdryer and fridge. The air conditioning is centralized, it is cool; while outside you exceed 28. Decent breakfast.

Good hostel, bad guests

A simple hostel just outside the city of Tarragona, ideal for those travelling on a budget and by car, thanks to its parking. Clean. The rooms are small but fully equipped with everything you need (wardrobe, table, towels, soap). The beds were very comfortable.
There is a shared microwave and small refrigerator. The fridge is for medicine or baby food, although, as we could see, the staff staying is quite uncivil and had it full of alcoholic beverages.
The hostel is located in a very quiet residential place. Unfortunately, we could not rest because of some guests who gave blows, moved furniture, and gave voices until the early morning.

Cheap accommodation near the beach

There is a large sandy parking lot with plenty of space.
The room was ok, everything clean but appropriate to the 2 stars. Even family rooms are available with a connecting door and two rooms.
The beach is only about 5 minutes walk.
Breakfast is quite sparse. Two toasts with ham and cheese, plus a croissant. A little more choice or combination options would have been nice.

the services and service are not worth even 10 €, of course, or the owners, I wish I could earn 50 € a night and even better for them, no one stays in their hotel only to be paid. Bad service, rude behavior, in short, a hotel that should be avoided by all
