Nice place in moraira
staff is a bit tired from the long season, and maybe they could improve a few things, but overall we enjoyed our stay and will come back again soon

Avoid + Be Warned.
We spent a few days here, and it was quite frankly regrettable. Not least the name is misleadin: "Moraira Beach Bed & Breakfast" is a NOT NEAR THE BEACH. It's a fair walk.
As previously stated in an earlier review the only good part was morning coffee....in town.
If you impart with your cash for a stay at this property, be warned it is not high standard or comfort. My only advice is to avoid and look elsewhere.

5 star hosts
Hosts: Amanda & Paul are amazing: they can't do enough for you and I felt as if I had made two new friends.
Accommodation: B&B come flat-share. There may only be two or three guests. I was on my own for a few nights. Amanda has her evening meal with guests when she can and sometimes Paul joins too. You also share with the beautiful, enigmatic Olivia (Oli) de Havilland, a Norwegian Wood cat.
Temperature: evenings and nights are cold so take something warm and fleecy. Heating is via a wood burning stove in the open plan shared area.
The food is wonderful: eg delicious, healthy soups and Paul does a brilliant honey-glazed salmon (and he can give you all the building advice you could ever need).
A typical week: eg, arrive Sunday evening; there is a yoga class every morning, Monday to Friday. After that you are free to do what you like.
The yoga trainers: Kate, Anina and Louise are all excellent and gave me very good advice and even a new move to stretch me. Kate's classes are at the Tennis Club on Monday and Friday morning and afterwards everyone goes to the bar for tea/coffee/juice/ whatever and chat. Kate and the class members are friendly and down-to-earth and you will want to move out there. Anina has created a suitably atmospheric studio further away in Figura(sp?). Louise comes to the villa.
Other activities: walks, eg to the pepper-pot watch tower, or combine the stay with another sport eg running (the hosts are both runners - hope you won your race, Amanda), tennis, scuba diving. The villa has a pool.
Moraira: The town is small in a picturesque setting, with interesting shops, cafes eg on the waterfront/beside the marina. The tourist infn office includes information about walks round the town with information about its interesting past and development, so you can get to know and appreciate the place better.
Exploring the area: On Saturday, when there were no yoga classes, I ventured further afield by train from Moraira's neighbour Teulada (sp?) to a neighbouring town (Denia) and went round the castle. I was fancying taking a boat ride but it was early in the season and the timings did not suit me so I treated myself to a meal in a seafront restaurant - the €12 menu was very good value, the food was delicious - well-cooked and healthy - and included a glass of wine or beer.
Evenings: Monday evening is music night at Cafe del Mar - a regular event for A&P and I thoroughly recommend it. Maybe in the summer you could do something outside. Otherwise, there is no TV/Sky, but there is a DVD player.
Tip: research what else you might want to do and come prepared: if you want a bigger enterprise with more people, more choice of foods and more activities laid on, I recommend La Crisalida along the coast in L'Albir. If you want something more intimate with less laid on for you, this may be the one for you.

They were great hosts, friendly and welcoming. Great food....will be back soon.
Moraira has a lovely beach and excellent bars and is within short drives of Denia and Calpe. We spent a lot of time walking in the hills around el portet and enjoying the views.
