This place offers so many thoughtful touches, but what truly made my stay unforgettable was the warmth of the people and the peaceful atmosphere. My room was beautiful, with wood details and sunlight pouring in—it felt incredibly cozy and serene. I enjoyed it so much that I found myself wanting to stay in and simply soak in the calm.
From the moment I arrived, I was met with genuine kindness. Sharon at reception was warm, attentive, and cheerful, setting the tone right away. Elsa welcomed me with such compassion and care—especially meaningful as I arrived with an injury. I didn’t feel like just another guest; I felt truly looked after, like family.
What touched me most was discovering that Elsa is the owner. Even early in the morning, on a holiday, she was there—present, humble, and radiating a sincere desire to help others. She truly embodies the spirit of El Camino.
And the breakfast—without a doubt the best I had on the Camino. Delicious, balanced, and full of variety, it was the perfect start to the day.
I leave deeply grateful for this experience. This is more than just a place to stay—it’s a place where the spirit of care, generosity, and authenticity truly lives.

Great spot for backpackers. Beautiful view and window. Unfortunately room smelled horribly like cigarettes (people sitting right outside your window smoking). Crowded

The Main restaurant in Triacastela

Service was good. Food reasonable with option for €16 pilgrims meal. Many options to choose from. Vino Tinto €7. Many deserts to choose from. The place to dine at Triacastela.

Our host Sharon was amazing! She was very helpful and attentive to our needs, we disturbed 3 times in an hour as our radiator had some issue, and she was very patient in helping us. The issue was resolved very quickly. I stayed in the private room for a night. rooms are very clean. Albergue has vending machines for coffee, snacks and items like plasters/nail clippers etc.
Excellent location. With Supermarket, ATM, Pharmacy, and a Restaurant (food available from 6am-10pm) all within 2mins walk.

Good menu at good time

Menu of the day very wide and rich. There is meat, vegetables, portage,..The chop looks very rich.We were very comfortable and well served.
