Perfect for a relaxing stopover

On the way to our vacation, we stopped at this property for the night.
And despite the negative comments we read, I want to clarify that this Pension is very clean, the staff welcoming and smiling,
Only small downside, the air conditioning is to be reviewed because it has not refreshed our room at all, beautiful proportions for a short stay and decorated with a beautiful bathroom.
Judging from a future trip,
Thank you to the friendly and helpful receptionist,

It was not what we expected

The room was quite small, with a double bed and a very uncomfortable mattress. The sheets had balls...In addition, the TV had no remote control and the heater in the bathroom had a leak. When the reservation was made it said that it had a microwave and coffee maker or something like that, which was not true. The doors to the other rooms were very noisy when opening and closing, waking you up at all hours. Anyway, to be so far away, they should take care of certain things to attract people. Maintenance in any business is essential.

More concerned with the money that with the loss of human lives caused by coronavirus

I´ve tried to cancel my reservation in this hotel because of the measures that are beeing taken to control the spread of coronavirus. I know that the deadline for the cancelation passed. Spanish government decreted a full quarentine but this gentlemans didn´t allow me to cancel the booking and said that "People today is travelling normally". Normally? More then 150 people died in Spain, quarentine is decreted, and they say that everything is normal? To finish they´ve insulted me and called me a bad person because i said i was going to make a bad review. It´s an opinion, i have mine and i´m publishing it.

Ok for overnight but its in a souless place

If you just want a place to sleep and don't care where it is/ cheap and close to Burgos then this is the place for you. It's in a main road yet has no central hub or community.
It's a decent enough hotel - the room was clean, adequately appointed and had air con (which is useful otherwise you have to open the windows and let the noise from the traffic in). I liked the bathroom as it had a decent amount of space to out your stuff on and the shower was powerful enough for me.
We had dinner which was slow as the receptionist was also the waitress. The tuna salad was decent but avoid the prawn omelette which had an aftertaste of tinned peppers which overwhelmed the rest of the dish so you couldn't eat it. We lefted it on the dish and didn't get it deducted off our bill.
Breakfast looked like leftover bread from the dinner before - toasted. My friend did get a croissant which looked a bit better. For 6.50 it was expensive for what it was, better to head into into Burgos for a better range of cafes and better food.

Worst experience ever

We booked a room in this hotel on our way to the Netherlands. On arrival we found to our horror that this hotel in an industrial area jus one meter next to a bussy road.
Right across the the hotel just [100 meter ] is a factory with a huge chimney blowing out smoke. The air pollution hits your throat and the noise from the road is deafening.
I suffer a lung and airway condition, on arrival i made clear that I could not stay in this hotel and had to cancel the reservation for health reasons. After some argumentation, the lady at the reception agreed to cancel the reservation, she promised that she would send an cancelation email to Bookings.com in order that we so that we would get a refund
The next day we were informed by bookings that the hotel refused a refund, as it turned out it was only a trick to get us out of the hotel. Next day we went back to the hotel to confront the lady of the reception. On arrival we were surprised to find out the hotel was closed.
