A gracious hotel staff can make a hotel stay special!

Hotel is a small, well designed, minimalist and modern. What distinguishes this hotel from other small hotels we’ve stayed in is the staff. Pablo, Teresa and Esti can’t be more gracious, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about their region. They provided restaurant recommendations, helped with booking our return trip to Bilbao on the bus and provided information for the local train to Donostia (San Sebastian) and France for day trips. The hotel itself is conveniently located 3-5 minutes by foot to the “old center” and the golden sand beach. Can’t believe what a difference 3 friendly, welcoming hosts can transform one’s ‘ho-hum’ hotel experience into an enjoyable and memorable one.

Good for a few days

Hotel located in the center of Zarauz, very close to the bar area and the train station. The room is spacious and comfortable, has a coffee maker and water detail, despite having no access to the outside it was well ventilated and did not give the feeling of claustrophobia. The only bad thing is the access to the bathroom, there is a dangerous step that if you throw off you can give you a dislike (I gave it), the reception staff very friendly and attentive and everything in general very clean. Complicated parking in the area.

Convenient location, short distance from train station. Shops and restaurants all around. Beach is a short walk too.
More importantly, very friendly owner and staff.
