Little outside but great value

Blue Haven is little bit outside, but worth the little extra effort. Its a quiet and friendly place.
We had the deluxe room with a lot of comfort. The continental breakfast is very good and gives you a good start into the day.
The next bus stop is not too far away and gives you a cheap ride into/from the city center. We stayed for 3 nights.

Quiet place in the middle of vegetation

Very nice place in the hills, quiet, quiet, in the middle of vegetation, with a nice pool, which should perhaps be cleaned a little more. The guy and gentleman who run the top floor very nice and professional, you can easily reach the center or the station by bus or taxi.

A friendly budget place to stay, with great staff, good breakfast and a pool.

Great value place to stay for Kandy. Very peaceful, green setting in the hills just above town. We'd walk into town in the morning, catch a tuk tuk back at night (it's a bit remote for walking after dark; tuk tuks are super easy way to nip about!). Really friendly and helpful staff - they looked after train tickets sent to me before we arrived. Friendly budget place with a great breakfast and a small but serviceable pool. A real bargain!

Almost five stars ;) No regrets.

The stay was as a part of the trip managed by Mr.Linton. One night there were a family with little kids running and screaming late late evening and the accoustic is not really perfect but I guess it is not better in any other place in this price category.
But othervise, location is great, morning you wake up to a nice view and sound of birds.
Stuff if helpful and breakfast are just Ok. I had much better breakfast at other locations in Sri Lanka, but not in Kandy so I cannot compare and for the price it was ok.
I would give 5 start, the only reason I don't is that I experienced really better places in other locations in Sri Lanka, but for Kandy this might be a really good choice and you can'g go really wrong with it.

Toured from 22nd March to 1st April. Tour route Colombo- Anuradhapura - Trincomali - Sigiriya - Kandy -Ella -Galle - Marissa -

Got good assistance and service from Mr Linton to make out our plan The driver Mr Nalinda also is very good and helpful to make your trip better
