Great place to stay before/after a flight

Great place to stay before or after a flight. The owner was very friendly and organised our ride to the airport in the early hours of the morning for us. Easy to walk to the beach and restaurants. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Good value for money.

Never again Roel Rest

Only conditionally recommended, ok for one night.
After we were attacked by sand fleas in bed at night, the host disinfected everything so well that I was allowed to take back burns home. Contact with... Does the vulture know what was used there. Then also to offer a discount for a good rating is a cheek. Never again!

Good and affordable hotel stay near to Colombo Airport

Roel Rest is an affordable guest house which is very close to the Colombo International Airport. Walkable distance to Negombo beach with access to good restaurants.
Stayed there for a night and had a good experience. Mr. Tony, the guest house owner was humble and welcoming.
Would recommend for those who are looking for affordable guest houses near to airport for a night stay.

Perfect

We stayed here for 1 night before leaving Sri Lanka. The host was there to greet is and was so friendly and helpful. We had pick of our room which was comfortable and clean so th a/c. There is a large kitchen/dining area with complimentary tea. Bathroom was big enough and clean and the hot water was fantastic. Good WiFi. A short walking distance to the main street. Would highly recommend as good value for money and nothing bad to say.

Excellent

Really good hosts. The service and contact is very nice and the house and rooms are very clean and good, although its basic. Good quality for what you pay! Even before leaving to the airport we could use the shower, although we were checked out already. The breakfast was very extended.
