Superb atmosphere amazing food

Staff is extremely helpful, friendly, had a lot of fun with the staff. Excellent and cheap local food served from their own kitchen which can be enjoyed at the poolside. Nice terrace downstairs and on the roof. It was always a pleasure to come home in this hotel.

Very bad hotel.

Zin resort is a very basic hotel with bad beds, no drinking water in the room, not even glass. The room was not cleaned in 5 days. There was a few times a lot of noise from the parties by the pool well into the night.

Disappointment

Unfortunately this time it was disappointing. The bathroom is in serious need of an upgrade. The sealant layer is outdated and does not look fresh. Numerous black dots can be seen that indicate mold formation. The price (60 usd) of the room is disproportionate to what you get in return. Lack of peace and quiet in the courtyard and on the street side. Amenities in the room are outdated. Staff were generally friendly but not always capable.

Cheap and bad

If you can, avoid this guest house or pay the less if you don't have any other solution because when you pay more, you don't get what you pay for!
And they don't do their best to please you and find solutions...

Value for money in the center of Paramaribo

Friendly and guest orientated. Complaints are taken seriously and they will do all necessary to help you. All rooms are acceptable. Don't expect a five star accomodation. You're living outdoors and you only want to sleep in it. Excellent situated nearby the center, Waterkant. Everything is in walking distance. There is a nightwatch till 9 in the morning. A closed parking lot is available with no charges.
The staff is available for 9 am till 12 am. Most of the time they are there till no one is in the bar. The nightwatch is also very helpfull at all times. Whether information or drinks.
We have stayed in 3 different rooms and they all suited our needs.
You can have your room cleaned as much as you want. The staff will aslo ask you regularly.
We had a great time and will certainly make use of this accomodation again.
