What's great about Häringe Slott is:
- Atmospheric mansion with interesting history
- Big, clean swimming pool
- Nature reserve nearby for hiking, bicycling etc
But:
We didn't feel the property was looking as great as it could. That said, prices are not very steep either (for Swedish standards). So we still felt Häringe was good value for money.
The historic rooms are all different, so see which room suits you best. Dogs are welcome in some rooms, even in some of the historic rooms.
The restaurant is nice enough, but not fantastic. The breakfast buffet selection was quite "standard" and boring - no surprises or local specialities.
Overall, enjoyable place - especially if you appreciate history and/or a big swimming pool.

This is a great place, lovely garden and pool area and the castle itself. Now the pool area can be designed better with a more exclusive feel. I have traveled A LOT and the rooms are not on par with money paid and the castle overall. I stayed in the ”Wenner-gren” house I believe it’s called. The castle building is lovely. We also used tennis and boule facilities.
