Pearl just outside Falkenberg

A gem in the countryside of Halland just outside Falkenberg. Nice little cottages, wonderful courtyard for dinner and a super nice owner with staff.

Gits Farm, a pearl of a place.

We had a great stay at Gits Farm. We were 4 couples who wanted to participate in the midsummer celebration and after each bike in the area.
At Git's farm it was perfect! Quiet and quiet without disturbing music. A great outdoor area where we saw many birds, buzzing beautiful insects and butterflies. We sat out and dressed ourselves in the bright summer nights, having guitar and singing together.
And the hostess was completely special, even sang birthday song for one of us and was at the service all the time.
This place can really be recommended.

Charming and rural

We booked midsummer lunch for 14 people and the homemade dishes tasted fantastic. Very nice owner and staff in a Real "country" place. Very quaint and we were all very happy.

Was this once a hippie commune?

Rustic is one way to describe a patched construction and not clean. Teeny bathroom in our “cabin/hit” is smaller than our bathtub at home! No a/c, door doesn’t lock, tiny fan for warm room, unscreen windows, but the TV is wider than the bed. Couldn’t wait to leave. The country setting is gorgeous.

Very, very happy!

Great place, great staff, great food! We celebrated our 50th birthday party with about 45 guests, many of them long distance. Git is incredibly friendly, accommodating and listening to our requests. Professional and met our suggestions with suggestions for improvement and small changes that made the experience even better. The food was incredibly good and generous in quantity and variety, no problems with special diet, specific requests, allergies, etc. The staff is incredibly cute and helps with EVERYTHING, from catering, music system, contact with taxis in the middle of the night and whatever. The room is so nice, genuine and is incredibly beautiful in the middle of the countryside. In the surroundings there are horses and lots of birds. On the farm live cats (at least in the summer of 2024, when we were there), it is dog friendly and there is pool. Git also recommended the band that played at the party, which was absolutely awesome. We are so pleased and would not hesitate for a moment to hire Git again!
