Solsta hotels

A nice hotel in the middle of Karlstad. Breakfast was great. The room was clean and comfortable. Small toilet with shower, but nothing that disturbed. Very nice staff

Half-good experience

The place was great, the room nice (even if the bathroom was minimal) and the staff friendly, but I would have appreciated information beforehand about ongoing renovations with construction noise and plastic on the floor in the corridor. We had really planned to hang out in the room for a few hours after check-in, but due to loud drilling it was impossible and we simply had to go out downtown for a while until the construction workers finished for the day. The breakfast felt very limited and in some parts a bit unappetizing with cheese that had been out for a long time and tasted a bit strange. But the son was happy with chocolate puffs and vanilla yogurt. The price was certainly on the lower end for a hotel night, but I feel that for that experience I would have wanted to pay a few hundred kronor less.

Nice but responsive

Small, simple but functional rooms. Excellent when you just need a room to sleep in.
However, very responsive. If I hadn't had earplugs with me, it would have been hard to sleep as they talked and laughed in the next room.
Good breakfast and good service.
