Spa in Kiruna

A super nice spa located a little outside central Kiruna but still close to the city.
I was visiting a friend who recently moved up to Kiruna and he chose and show me this spa.
During our visit it was -32 degrees, which made the experience very powerful!
Their indoor pool was warm and with tables and chairs there was plenty of space. It is also here that the bar offers alcohol.
Something I thought was lovely was that when you step out of the dressing room you step straight into the hat and a nice waterfall indoors that makes it very harmonious and nice and walk there.
The large spacious outdoor pool provided plenty of space and socialize and get to know new people. Sitting in the hot pool for -32 made your hair freeze fast. There was also the opportunity to swim cold bath (very slippery there when you get up)
There is also an outdoor sauna in addition to several indoors. The sauna outdoors was a disappointment, we were maybe unlucky but the sauna was not warm but more lukewarm. So for us it was the sauna indoors.
But on the whole are in satisfied, the staff was super nice and helped with what was needed.

Fabulous hotel

Room size reasonable and equipped with mini kitchen, good bed, warm with the outside temperature of 10 degrees negative for less, hot babyer and with good shower, good cafe from manha, excellent spa with fantastic thermal swimming pools both closed and outdoor in the middle of the snow.

They played dumb.

We were 37 people from a tour in Lapland. Breakfast was at 6:30 in the morning. There we were, the whole bus waiting to have breakfast, in a bit of a hurry since we had to continue our trip. They didn't even open the door to avoid letting in the cold. After waiting for 10 minutes, and no one came, we continued our trip without breakfast. This episode says a lot about the lack of seriousness of this establishment.

A failure

They didn't open for us to have breakfast; they had committed to serving us breakfast and they didn't do it. We left without breakfast to avoid missing the flight.
A tremendous failure to meet their obligation.

Road trip Sweden 2026

“Barracks” similar cottages, renovated on the inside but not the outside. Despite the little worn and cramped bathroom with moisture smell. Was only a curtain length for blackout which was not enough to darken the room. Expensive and not worth the money. The main house was very nice and fresh. Breakfast very fresh fans gluten and vegan options. Staff Stefan was very nice and helpful who raised the stay.
