Amazing place for dinner

Really amazing food and lovely staff, especially since they were so accommodating, capable and friendly even in my native English. Atmosphere inside was warm and the food packed a real punch. Definitely worth it and a highlight of my holiday

Good food in great surroundings!

We ate three-course dinner at Karnelund - lovely food (many local ingredients) and great good wines. Nice waiters and not least a nice owner(?) and sommelier. He gave us two wine options for the various dishes and we got to taste before we decided. Exciting flavors and a great way to do it. Cosy rooms with warm atmosphere. Recommended!

Sunday lunch

Five stars to Karnelins Krog & Rum. We had a French three-course lunch that was consistently excellent, well-prepared and prepared with great attention to ingredients and details. The service from the owner was exceptionally good, personal, warm and professional at the same time. Also the chef was very nice and contributed to the nice atmosphere. One of those lunches that makes you happy to stay a little longer than you intended.

Successful takeover!

Return visit to restaurant we have been to several times over the years. Now with a new owner couple. We were not disappointed! Very friendly and helpful staff. Here you choose two or three dishes at a fixed price. Wine packages are available, in addition a wine list with nice wines where most can be obtained by the glass. Portuguese wines are close to the couple's heart. We had beetroot gazpacho and a surfnturf with octopus and pork side for starter, lamb recot and monkfish for main course, chocolate mousse and PEG (praline, espresso, grappa) for dessert. Here the kitchen shows great skill in terms of textures and flavors. The main courses were luminous ten-pointers. Wow, highly recommend the restaurant.

A visit is a must

The restaurant is probably one of the best I have visited in Österlen, all categories. Ambience, reception, environment. The menu is simple and of the highest class. This is definitely worth a visit and extremely affordable.
