Beautiful property in a beautiful setting

Tastefully designed, recently renovated property nestled in an incredibly beautiful location. Friendly, professional staff and top notch breakfast. Less than 30 minutes away by car from the port in Kapellskär.

Marsh swamp

Wrote newlyweds in the booking but got no extra attention for this. Booked this to go to the spa, but it was under renovation and we became aware of that when we were there. On top of everything, a waiter ran out and asked if we had paid for dinner which we had done. It was extremely unpleasant. Don't come here.

Good food but the service reduced the experience and made the visit a disappointment. Until the main course everything was fine but then it was flat fall when we waited a long time to get attention to see the menu again for dessert. After a fairly long wait we got half of what we ordered and were bothered that we had to wait so long for the rest because we wanted to enjoy these together. When we finally called attention again, it turned out that they had given dessert to another table. Once we got everything, it was good but half he melted before we could eat them and the atmosphere was down. It felt like our 3000kr should have been spent on another restaurant.

Wedding at Marholmen

We chose Marholmen for our wedding and wedding weekend and could not be more satisfied.
Both nature and facility with all its different parts is incredible. The food was a huge success – we got lots of praise from our guests who still talk about how good it was. The service was consistently high and the staff were always helpful, friendly and attentive.
The accommodation was also great and was very much appreciated by our guests who could choose the one that suited them best, making the whole wedding weekend relaxed and memorable for everyone.
A particularly big thank you to Barbro who was absolutely fantastic throughout the process. Her dedication, courtesy and professionalism made us feel safe and well taken care of all the way.
Thank you Marholmen for helping us with one of the finest days of our lives. We warmly recommend you to anyone who is thinking of organizing their wedding at your place or of course just visit you!

Bad food

Today's lunch was no big deal. Served different dish than the menu and it tasted like really bad school food. The renovation of Marholmen should not affect the quality of the food. Boring.

Hej. Vi ber om ursäkt för er dåliga upplevelse hos oss. Just denna dag misslyckades vi och det finns inga ursäkter annat än att vi var helt nyöppnade med vår nya restaurang Hermans Veranda, Matsal och Bar. Nu när vi börjar bli varma i kläderna hoppas vi att ni vill ge oss en ny chans.
