Very quiet and yet centrally located!
I had the pleasure of spending three days this week at the beautiful Hotel Schweizerhof in Davos, which is very centrally located on the promenade and yet very quiet.
The hotel is beautifully designed, with great seating areas everywhere, and the restaurant, breakfast room, terrace, and spa invite you to visit. The rooms are also very nicely furnished with a lot of wood and have a lovely balcony that invites relaxation.
Staff in all areas are also very friendly and helpful!
I would gladly come back!

Good food, not everyone is friendly
We were eating at the Damoro restaurant in Davos on 08/01/26 and are extremely disappointed with the service management, even though the prices are in the top segment at over 65 francs for a piece of meat. The evening began with an impertinence: We were placed at a lounge area right by the serving counter. Since my wife did not want to sit with her back to the busy counter, she sat next to me on the sofa. The waiter then reprimanded us rudely. He stared at us strangely and said in an imperious tone that it was not intended to be that way and she had to sit on the other side. An absolute outrage! Whenever the waiter had to bring something to the table later, he either remained grimly silent or answered only spitefully. The only reason we did not leave the restaurant immediately is thanks to a very competent waitress. She took over our table afterward, provided truly excellent, attentive service, and saved the evening. From the responsible managers on site, however, there was complete disinterest: Neither a greeting upon entering nor a farewell upon leaving. At these prices, such behavior is absolutely unacceptable. A big compliment to the waitress, but the rest of the service management was a disappointment. The food, however, was very good.

Beautiful
A hotel with particularly spacious, impressive rooms. Each room has its charm. A feel-good oasis! Excellent meals, diverse breakfast buffet, friendly staff. We stayed in a large, beautiful room, functionally furnished, comfortable, and clean. Highly recommended.

The Morosani is an excellent choice while visiting Davos.
The Morosani Hotel in Davos is an excellent hotel in the heart of Davos. My husband and I traveled to Davos for a business trip and recently stayed at the Morosani in a suite. The hotel accommodations were very comfortable and decent sized for a European hotel offering. The room had a small living room area, 2 closets, a coffee station, a mini fridge, tea kettle, place to keep wet boots, a king size bed, bathroom with tub and walk in shower, an even a balcony with views of the mountains. The staff at the Morosani is exceptional. The girls at the front desk are super friendly, always giving warm greetings and helpful advice. The breakfast buffet has a large offering with Omelettes, fresh breads and pastries, and even a juice maker. The location of the Morosani is very conveniently located near ski lifts as well as all the shops in the town. You can walk to restaurants, cafes, ski shops and grocery stores within minutes. Also there is a ski rental shop located next door with access right from the lobby. I would definitely recommend this hotel for families, skiing, or business trips. We would definitely visit again while traveling to Davos.

Service is not nearly appropriate to the price level
CHF 620/night x 5 days booked over New Year's Eve at Hotel Morosani - and no willingness to service. Bed in junior suite very uncomfortable and hard. Despite immediate request no room change, (there were available on the website) instead multiple comforting. The reception staff were very polite, but the boss was never willing to talk. At check out everything was succinctly dismissed as "subjective sensation". No reduction or credit, no accommodation whatsoever - despite years of loyalty and direct booking.
This behaviour is not nearly commensurate with price levels.
Since there was also no reaction to my review "how was it at our hotel", it seems appropriate to share this.
