Lindau Hostel - more expensive than Motel One

We booked a double room that was clean. The bed linen and the bed were cleanly made. There is a small towel included. Shared toilet, shared bathroom, you have to keep that in mind. There is no shower gel. Centrally located right next to the train station. 100 € (festival season) could be a bit less, a Motel One costs 90 €.

Very nice and convenient, yet cheap place

This a very nice and convenient, yet cheap place.
It is situated right on the fantastic historic island of Lindau.
Excellent for a touristic stroll or visiting a restaurant.
Even by car it is convenient, because parking can be done relatively cheap in a nearby garage, even very cheap overnight.
For public transport: the train-station is across the street.
I stayed in a 8 bed dormitory with ample space and clean bedding.
There is a large both well equipped and well organised kitchen, which I used for breakfast.
Bathrooms are clean and functional. Showers were on a different floor.
Access was by a clever system which released a key by a code.
I would definitely stay there again when going that direction.

We will be back

This is the third time we have stayed at the Inselhotel during the festival.
The rooms are fine and clean, our bathroom was a bit small, but compared to our first visit, all the floors are now new. The staff are always friendly, funny and helpful, very centrally located, right in the middle of the pedestrian zone. The breakfast is great, it is often refilled, as the portions are rather small. This means that not so much has to be thrown away. We will be back next time we visit Lindau.

Best hostel stay experience

Special thanks to Dora, helpful and super friendly helped us a lot during our stay. Excellect facilities, spacious room, kitchen and toilet. Car park and laundry available upon request. Awesome staying experience
