Nice hotel with friendly staff

Our nice room in the geographically well-located hotel was on the 3rd. floor (no elevator). The beds provided good sleep quality, and the friendly service is particularly noteworthy. The nearby parking lot is subsidized by the hotel at 20%.

The hotel location is excellent. We parked close by and this was validated by the hotel. The hotel is a short walk to the lake and is highly recommended for an amazing view. Hotel staff were extremely helpful and the hotel restaurant was superb. Tex-Mex - wasn’t expecting it to be as good as it was.
Couple of negatives - we travelled during the summer months and the room didn’t have aircon. It was uncomfortably hot. The room had a fan but we all struggled to sleep during the nights we stayed. Bit of a shame and very tiring.
The other negative and probably not a hotel issue. Accommodation tax!! Horrible…you budget for your stay and then an additional charge is incurred during check-in. Should either be included upfront of hotel booking or not charged at all.

This hotel is very much a boutique hotel. No elevator or air conditioning but still a very nice and clean room. The decor is shabby chic and bedding is comfortable. The included breakfast is not as much as we have had at other hotels during this trip but a quick yogurt and coffee and croissant does the trick. The staff was very friendly and even took our bags up to our room for us. FYI the parking is not real sat either which was nice.

We took one night hotel with the hotelcard and were pleasantly surprised at the quality of service in the hotel.
The hotel is arranged around the theme tex-mex which is pleasant to rub shoulders with.
The bedding is adequate and we slept well.
Window open we heard traffic which was not disturbing for us who are used to.
At breakfast, served at table with simplicity and good products. A buffet to complete this with also quality products with taste.
There is no elevator but the decorated floors are mounted with a smile.
The room is original, nice, simple, clean. Nothing wrong.

Cool old building very nicely updated. Friendly staff, great location by the castle and less than five minute walk to the old town.
