Give it a go. Nice...
Really nice place. Was here in my Land Rover from Australia, on my SE Asia round trip.
Lovely pool, staff super helpful, secure parking for my baby. Breakfast was very average compared to similar place i have stayed in this price range. You can get a taxi into town 10 mins away for a really nice night out. This place probally is not for you backpackers who want cheap as chips, and theres plenty in town for you, but if you want to have a-little bit more up-market, and or have children with you you cant go wrong here at all. If i was on my own 2 feet and 20 years younger. and no Land Rover then i would have stayed in town.

Superb hotel
Before returning to Laos, we stayed one night in this beautiful hotel. Ideally located on the banks of the Mekong, beautiful garden with swimming pool. Not too far from downtown on foot or by tuk-tuk.
Our room was beautiful, overlooking the pool and the Mekong. Spacious room, perfect bathroom, excellent bedding.
Breakfast taken on the terrace by the Mekong. Lots of choices and very good quality.

Nice hotel to stay during trip
During tour stayed here for one night. Great hotel with quiet rooms and well equipped with views of the Mekong River. Breakfast is mostly Thai based but excellent and tasty. Nice pool and close to the local night market street with plenty of restaurants and food stands.

couple of days in chiang khan with my wife's family
Stayed just a couple of days with my wife's family, booked three river view rooms. The rooms were very comfortable and quite luxurious, very clean.
The staff were very helpful.
we enjoyed a meal on arrival in the river tree cafe.
The food was excellent.
The facilities were excellent and the swimming pool extremely clean.
we all enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

TV was not working. We couldn't watch anything. The hotel needs to use a cable system.
