A Great Hotel with Great Staff
We booked this hotel for our anniversary/ birthday, really excited as we checked in, we were greeted very well the actual hotel lobby itself was absolutely huge it was really comforting walking in and we were given drinks as we walked in as well and then the check-in staff greeted us as we are IHG members so it was a really good check.
We were given our room key of which we were put in a block that was nice it was quiet and very convenient to the restaurant and the swimming pool.
Now a little bit about the room itself. Initially the room was great it's large had a comfortable bed we had a balcony facing the maintenance area which wasn't the best but nevertheless it was a good stay good TV and a decent sized bathroom but there were a few things that needed addressing.
We didn't have any towels on arrival
We only had one turn down service for throughout the whole state
We weren't given any bathrobes or slippers
We were only offered a fruit bowl the once during the stay
The fridge itself wasn't cold enough at all it literally didn't keep any water or juices cold
The AC also wasn't cold, so we had to get somebody just to have a look at it, but it still wasn't cold, but it was very hot outside.
The bathroom itself had a few fixtures like the towel rail the shaver point there was very loose so there were a few fixtures that needed attention.
As I mentioned the birthday, so we were given a special sort of like invitation to a particular restaurant which we really look forward to. But unfortunately, the person that was actually checking us in into the restaurant had mixed the tables up and given somebody else our birthday table who had the birthday banners, but it wasn't their birthday and even they were a little bit surprised that they had the birthday table for when they started clapping and singing Happy Birthday for us it was a little bit weird but food itself was great but it's just to make a point.
Now to the good points
Soufri and Aisha absolutely made us stay so welcome they were amazing always tentative always at our beck and call always asking how we were. My wife felt a little bit unwell and Soufri and Aisha absolutely went out their way to make sure that she stayed hydrated offered a doctor medical advice all sorts just to make sure that she was looked after so I really applaud these two I think the hotel wouldn't run without Soufri and Aisha.
Generally, the staff are very friendly across the complex in the buffet area the bar area and the snack bar area all the staff are friendly always tentative never huffed and puffed they just were at your beck and call
The food in the buffet area is amazing breakfast was amazing lunch was amazing in both snack bar and buffet, and dinner was amazing we were never ever left hungry just great food great service great drinks overall a very good experience in the hotel we highly recommend it.

The incredible hotel
It is the best hotel i had so much fun here with people with everyone here and everything was so incredible the animators , the food , the party everything here is fantastic

I've come to this hotel with my family. I need to say that's one of the best hotels I had been to. Very good animators, lot of activities, very good quality food.

Wonderful stay – the staff is a true treasure!
This was our consecutive trip abroad, but our very first time in Tunisia (Djerba).
This hotel absolutely deserves its 5 stars, first and foremost because of the incredible people who work here.
We would like to send our warmest thanks to the entire staff and the waiters. Their hospitality, constant smiles, and helpfulness are an invaluable asset to this place.
Special thanks go to Hassim, Youssuf, Malik as well as many others whose names we unfortunately didn't manage to remember (we are so sorry!).
Youssuf, a huge, heartfelt thank you to you specifically – we truly hope the management recognizes and appreciates everything you do for the guests! And for us
The animation and entertainment team also did a fantastic job. Thanks to the seemingly infinite energy of Amigo and DJ Simon, our evenings were absolutely perfect. We haven't had this much fun in a very long time!
A special shout-out to the team leader, Mohammad – he is not only an excellent entertainer and dancer but clearly a brilliant team leader as well
We won't go into details about the food or the room facilities, because everything was at a very good and appropriate level. Even if there were some minor inconveniences , the incredible atmosphere made them completely irrelevant.

Good experience – room for improvement on details
Check-in was very welcoming, with efficient processing and a nice touch of a welcome drink while paperwork was handled. The only gap was a lack of clarity on how the city tax was calculated (the amount charged was correct, just not well explained upfront).
The room was nice and comfortable. The pool area is attractive, but rule enforcement could be better — we noticed smoking in non-smoking pool zones, and several sunbeds claimed at 9am with guests not returning until 1pm. More active staff enforcement would make the space fairer for everyone.
The buffet offered tasty food with great variety, though many dishes weren't labeled, making it hard to identify ingredients or check for allergens.
We also tried a spa massage — relaxing, but not great value for the price; there are better options outside the resort.
One more observation: the property doesn't seem to use the Iberostar app for things like activity planning. Instead, schedules are distributed via printed paper near the pool or posted on boards at reception, which feels a bit dated given the brand's digital offering.
We had the chance to meet the director directly and share these suggestions, and he seemed genuinely open to addressing them. We'll be back to see how things have progressed.
Overall, a pleasant stay with friendly staff, and it's encouraging to see management receptive to feedback — small operational fixes (labeling, rule enforcement, digital tools) would elevate the experience even further.
