This was a lovely place to stay! My room was simple, with a comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Goreme is not very big so it was only a 5 minute walk away from all of the restaurants, and in the morning you can watch the baloons from the terrace upstairs, or walk up the hill which only took me around 7 minutes. The family-run business offered to advise on activities for my stay too

I advise

It is a friendly hotel that suits your budget, is in the center, and is in a location where you can watch the balloons very easily, where you can have a warm welcome and a family atmosphere, and where you can go with peace of mind. Thank you again for everything.

Pretty awesome place, but I do have some issues.

My wife and I stayed here as part of our trip to Turkey in August/September 2023.
There is a lot that my wife and I loved about this place! The location is amazing! Just a short walk from downtown Goreme and all of the restaurants, yet facing some of the most beautiful views of fairy chimneys in Cappadocia with an amazing rooftop terrace to watch the balloons in the morning.
The room itself was quite nice and spacious, and definitely gives off that cave vibe that Goreme specifically and Cappadocia generally are famous for.
However, I do have a couple of complaints:
1) the owner was a little pushy on selling trips/tours. We have booked everything beforehand and he seemed frustrated by that. He also made some comments about he could have gotten us things cheaper. If I wanted that commentary I would have asked for it. I just found it annoying.
2)The bathroom was small and not well designed. I am a tall guy, and when I sat on the toilet, I had to open the glass shower door to stick my legs in because there was no room for them. Furthermore, the shower pan does NOT keep the water in the shower, it went ALL over the floor when having a shower.
3) The hotel did not provide us with any free water. This is more of a general gripe with Turkey in general rather than this hotel specifically, but the Turks seem very stingy with their free water. Normally when I stay at a hotel in a location where the water is not safe to drink, they usually provide a couple of bottles of water free of charge. But none of the hotels in Turkey did, and come on! There weren't that expensive in Turkey and its 35C outside!
I think these things could easily be improved and this hotel would be so amazing because of it. Other than the above mentioned things, this place really was great!

Çocuklu tatil kappadokya ❤️

Reserved at Guven cave otel for 3 nights while searching where to have our vacation in cappadokia, was our best choice in all means.
From reservation moment the owner's son in law mr. Emre, who is now in charge of the business was more than helpful at all times.
He helped us organise our family tour while giving us tips for everyday.
Came along with us at 6 o' clock in the morning to guide us to the hot air ballon takeoff place.
The breakfast was great while everyday there was something different handmade by the owner lady. The breakfast lounge has beautiful view as well as the tarace and balcony.
Our room was at the main balcony of the hotel and had the view of cappadokya as well as the ballons early in the morning, even through out our windows.
Our room had a double bed and two single beds was spacy and hot. Some defaults in the room is just a matter of years of use and could easily be repaired so to be impecable in terms of sight.
The hotel seems to be a bussiness of ages the family who runs it makes you feel at home and so cosy that was hard to leave. Our kids loved hotel's cat Pamuk ❤️
There were family as well as single guests in the hotel at our time of stay.
We recomment this family hotel to everyone that searches cosy stay in reasonable prices in Goreme.

Great place to stay, Lovely building, Nice Breakfast Fantastic area

WE booked this on Airbnb, where it trades with different info for their rules i think. Anyway a lovely old place, really cute, Nice balcony with great views.. Accross the road is ZEST, A super restaraunt, 10/10 and good value. Things to see in the area Uchisar Kastle, By taxi, Great views, a must, possibly at sunset ? Devrent vally, Great walk among intersting stones, Quad sunset tour, Kaymakli underground city 10/10 We took taxi for everything as cheaper than tours. we were dissapointed with Goreme open air Museum, No Pictures allowed , So if pushed for time i'd skip, As theres better caves etc all over the place, for free, and crowg free
