Great thank you.
On the minus side: poor phone/data signal. Which made contacting the reception by phone at arrival impossible. Fortunately, other guests arrived just after us and had a better connection from outside the building so the desk was attended very quickly. Wi-Fi free 30 minutes only in travelodge. Pillows a bit thick, no choice for a thinner one. Window only open a tiny bit, for security. The main annoyance was the closeness of the main road, busy on a Sunday evening, in the night around 4am, and the morning. If you are not one to take your earingaid off during the night, use something to block the sounds. Or, pay for choosing a room at the back, and avoid the south side when very hot. It was OK for us, the heatwave was over. Thanks for a lovely night on our way.

Clean room, comfortable bed, room too hot to Sleep in. We left at 0230am. Shout out to Aidan on the front desk x
Our room was clean but incredibly hot and uncomfortable, there was a wall heater that said it could be used as a fan but neither of us could get it to work and a desk fan.
I did complain to a lady on reception but she didn’t seem interested. Hence the 3 for the review.

Dreadful place to stay
We would not have booked this accommodation if we were told that the rooms are only clean every six days. We feel that this is discussing, we are here for 19 nights so overall we may get room cleaned 3 times.
The issue is that travel Lodge doesn't employ enough staff to keep things clean. The toilet in our room is covered in limescale this due to it not being clean daily. We have the same thing around the taps and sink. There is no excuse for this just buy some decent cleaning products.
Tea and coffee in the room is cheap an of very poor quality. The tea leaves a thick scum around the cup and coffee is not drinkable it is horrid. A small fridge in room would be good as then we could buy fresh milk and have cold water to drink.
The wifi is absolutely useless even when you pay for it as it keeps dropping out.
We would have left on our first day and moved to a better quality hotel if we had not payed in advance.
We have had better self catering accommodation in Greece 20 years ago.

Improving Guest Experience
Just a few things though would have made it a better experience: 1) Working extractor fan in bathroom 2) attention when cleaning the room to bath plughole as it has a hairband in it and a lot of hair! And most importantly 3) servicing and adjusting door closers to prevent doors slamming late at night and early in the morning! Slamming doors near our room was particularly annoying and could be remedied straightforwardly. We reported this to the receptionist but nothing was done during our 5 night stay.
