Outstanding service - private function

The team at the Oak Tree Inn are second to none and made our private function run so smoothly, we cannot speak highly enough of them. From our initial enquiry, being shown around and having discussions with the manager, to accessing the room the day prior to our event, and afterwards so we could set up and clear, they bent over backwards for us.
The day itself, the team must have got so many steps in and were so incredibly attentive, patient with our youngest of guests and nothing was too much trouble for them. On the hottest day of the year, they were incredible and all of our guests were singing their praises too.
The food - fantastic, the service - impeccable. We will be back soon to thank them in person.

The best burger.....

Saw a special menu deal on FB so decided to give it a go. Pub was nicely busy giving it a pleasant atmosphere. The food was superb, well presented, tasty and hot. Probably the best burger ive ever had! Very impressed with quality, service, value for money. We will definitely return and would recommend.

Anyone travelling here this week had better check road closures. We got caught out and had a massive reroute when only 5 mins away. Hotel fine, tho bathroom had a smell from drains. We had car park level room.

Another enjoyable lunch here

Dropped in for lunch. We were well looked after by Simon and the food was up to its usual high standard. The Oak Tree will be our go-to if we are travelling this way.

I'd thoroughly recommend the 'Oak Tree inn' I really enjoyed my stay, the bedroom was fabulous and the bar / common areas were very pleasant. The staff were lovely and very welcoming.
There's nothing I can criticise, but recommend a note on the booking website to confirm they don't do food (dinner / bar food) on a Monday or Tuesday.
