unique lovely hotel

This amazing place has everything for a stay in a unique building in peaceful and quiet surroundings. The old rectory house is a lovely building with so much character. It is located in a quiet area and within walking distance to Arrow Valley country park which has some lovely walks, scenery and wildlife.
Although the reception isn’t always staffed I had received clear instructions on access to the building, my room and an overview of the facilities. On arrival there was a member of staff present who was helpful, friendly and showed me the facilities. It was a quiet location at night with a comfortable bed and large room. There is plenty of cereal and fruit available for breakfast.I would recommend this venue for somewhere to stay which has a lot to offer for a reasonable price

A little gem!

Beautiful country house in a secluded location. Stayed one night in the Bluebell Room. Like staying in a family home. Comfortable and cosy. Friendly staff, very welcoming, complimentary breakfast an added bonus. Cannot recommend it higher. I’m booking again for my next visit up here.

It was okay. We slept well. But it is hard to stay long time here sadly... also, expiration date of milk has passed. It is better to care it well.
Thank you

Brilliant stay
Such a lovely setting, gorgeous gardens
So quiet, actually had a good nights sleep!!
I was greeted with a really warm, friendly welcome even though it was nearer 6pm and shown the ropes.
The bluebell room was lovely.
Would definitely recommend.

A quiet and beautiful place.

This is a beautiful house; it has charm and character. The rooms are in quirky shapes; do not stay here if you like corporate hotels, as you will find inconsistencies in the levels of the floors, the walls, and anything else; it is an old building.
The breakfast was great, as included with the price of the room. There was cereal, pastries and fruit, as well as yoghurt and cereal bars. There was also a choice of milk. I would have appreciated more than one pod for the Nespresso machine; I would have even paid for the extra. The only other issue for me was the size of the TV, it was tiny, and I really struggled to see anything on it.
There is a self-check-in procedure for guests who arrive late, and the details will be sent to you on the day of arrival.
We arrived, and Lisa, who is lovely and very helpful, helped my daughter make up a separate bed. We had booked a 4-foot double, and it was very hot, so she felt we would not be comfortable in the same bed.
The house is a wedding venue, and if you are planning a wedding and live near enough to use it, I would urge you to go for a look around as it is fab, beautiful grounds and lots of space for guests to stay.
