Much like a low end motel. Was convenient for our purpose, seeing the Festival of Lights. Approximately 1.2 mile walk.

Not the best but reasonably priced

To be fair, it appeared that the new owner was beginning renovations the day after we checked in. There are railroad tracks within 100 yards of the hotel and trains ran through the night. The pool was filled in and covered. The outside of the hotel looked like the place rented by the hour. The rooms were painted with decent tile flooring. All the furniture looked like it has been there since the place was first built. The bathroom was exceedingly small with little water pressure. No vending machines and one ice machine looked like the first prototype. It was livable but not a relaxing experience.
