Friendly family run hostel

Wanted to write a review just to give a shout out for the very friendly and helpful staff. Despite the language difficulties they were so genuine and happy to look after you. We had a very large family room for two of us. It was immaculately clean and had all the amenities. With family members coming and going, along with small children and babies, it was a wonderful homestay-like place to stay. As others have said, however, the location is not great and the immediate surroundings are non-descript. However, with a scooter you can easily get to the city or just to the livelier strip along the beachfront. We liked this place also as you can quickly walk to the beach, where we just wanted to chill for a few days. Good value for money.

Helpful staff, poor location

This dorm has privacy curtains, cleaner daily, helpful staff with a good level of English, bike and scooter hire available, and free WiFi!
However, the location is quite far from the centre/ old town, being a 25-30 minute cycle. Without going into the centre, there is nothing to do in the area apart from visit the beach (6 minute walk) which I didn’t do in the poor weather.
For a place to stay, cheap and cheerful with good atmosphere, but location is a massive down fall for me unfortunately.
If I had a car or scooter without having to pay 130,000D a day or a scooter, id give this a 4/5 and would stay again.
