Easter 2019 is the best time to visit Amsterdam to witness their world-famous Tulip Fields. The last two weeks in April are when they are at their peak, before they are ‘topped’ at the end of the month. If you don’t make it to the Tulip Fields then be sure to visit the beautiful flower-filled Keukenhof Gardens. Travelling with little ones? Then take them to Zomerbloemenpluktuin, where they can search for Easter eggs and pick their own bunch of tulips and daffodils.

Kings Day is a celebration of the King’s birthday and the Dutch celebrate in style in the streets and on the canals throughout the city. And if you want to join in, then just wear something orange.
